The thumbnail reminded me of the game Another World. Great video!

My biggest issue is line consistency between frames. Like, I can get volume and motion right, done countless bouncing balls, but it's no use when the lines get shimmery.

yeah this seems to be a common issue, it really depends on what you 're animating and how much detail you're carrying over between frames.

@@MostafaNassar In my case, I am trying to make something that's like a classic cartoon (though obviously better visually, but that's all in the composition) though it's on hold until I figure out a way to fix the line problem.

Cool art! Starting to learn how to draw pixel art from no experience. This video was awesome for me as a beginner. Any tips on how to get better with drawing proportions of sprite characters (Head size, body size, legs)?

Thanks, the best way to get better is to practice every day and try to avoid drawing from memory. When doing proportions it's always good to have a reference. It will fix your mistakes early and help build your muscle memory on how to draw the correct shapes

one of my last videos i posted called furnace mimic is one of my first animations and i mainly just go with changing timing ect but this vid is 2d so im not sure how it would translate lol

you did a really good job with it ! you can also use key frames to do 2D animations (depends on the style of the game)

i will use the vid tho for if i add tapes to the game for lil 2D animations plus i also want to learn 2D animation because if you do it right you can combine it with 3D animation
