You are welcome, yes its been good - I am into week 8 now out of 12 and so far so good! Not had to go back to the Dentist at all and I have had great support from the SM team too.
Thank you SO much for all your information as I have started my Smilewhite journey and see the orthodontist in a few days for the second time but I’ve been reading some real horror stories about how people can’t bear wearing them as so constricting and painful, plus it’s hard to eat etc and I’ve been messaging SW for the last 3wks as my orthodontist wanted me to contact them to say we are going ahead and having both top and bottom done now but I’ve had no response from SW and today I’ve been panicking terribly about wether I’m making the right decision and should I cancel before it’s too late.. I’d love to know if it got painful and constricting for you as time went on?
@@GodsGirl48 Hey! It does take a while from seeing the Dentist to then getting the aligners mine took about 6 weeks I believe. You have to take the alingers our when you eat, then brush your teeth and put them back in again. I swill my mouth out with water first to get anything off my teeth then give them a brush. I have to admit I have been super lucky with mine I have only had minimal discomfort. Having had braces when I was younger for about 3-4 years I know how excruciatingly painful they can be. After all you are moving your teeth of course. I am on week 9 of 12 this very week, and I have only had a couple of weeks where when I put them in they are tight, but then my the next morning it feels ok. Hope this helps x
@@Rocksolid-HealthThanks SO much for replying lovely and giving me great advice and insight 😊 I saw my orthodontist 4 days ago and he has really put my mind at rest ( as I went in with about 11 questions before I made the commitment) he was so understanding and said worst thing to do is google it as you only really get the bad stories and not the good ones that are successful. He told me the same as you that it won’t cause migraines and lots of pain but just a bit uncomfortable when changing trays. We are going ahead and I’m so excited and i should have my trays ready end of September 😊 he even said I was allowed to drink sparkling water with my aligners in( as that’s all I drink) which surprised me. I’m really looking forward to watching your journey as you are obviously weeks ahead of me so I’m sure I can pick up some tips from you and you’ve already given me lots of reassurance bless you 💖 I’m so glad you are documenting your journey as your the only one I can find who is doing it through SW 😊xx
@@willow2290 this is just wonderful news I am so so happy for you and that you are feeling more settled about it. Can't wait to learn more about your journey this is ACE! Any questions just fire them over and I'd be happy to help, and yes I also drink sparkling water with them in too - with a slice of lemon and ice of course :)
Marketing can 100% influence decisions, however I can only comment from what I have experienced with SM and I can say they have been nothing but professional with me. Wish you all the luck with your journey
I went with smile white, I can’t give full experience because the first dentist they sent me too were not professional, they put me on unnecessary heavy medication for wisdom tooth removal. And they told me to google natural tooth paste because I told them the one they gave me made my gums swell. So I’d say be careful which dentist they send you to
@@naomivds578 they sent me to a bad dentist too. The minute I walked into the practice I knew they were not properly trained so I cancelled my appointment and my treatment with Smile White
@@naomivds578I am so sorry to hear that you has that experince. That was one thing I was nervous about because I know and trust my own dentist. In my case I was super lucky as Watling Street were amazing
@@crissy17183 I don’t know if this will help your decision but the dentist I was sent to does Invisalign and Smilewhite and i feel my treatment has been as good as if I had Invisalign
Do you have any updated videos to see how your getting on? 😊
Did you ever end up making a results video?
Hi, thanks for this video. I am considering Smile White, how are you getting on with them since this video? Thanks
