I saw it last Friday and it would see it again. There were only seven people in the theater. I've been seeing this trend, for the past two years with movie releases, not all but a good majority.

I saw this movie last Monday night in an AMC IMAX in Tysons Corner. This movie is intense and brutal especially the middle to ending of the 2nd act and the entire 3rd act. This movie was apolital which actually hurts it in the end imo. If you're going to do a movie about a civil war at least let the audience know what you're fighting for or trying to protect. Unless I missed it, I didn't see any explanation about why there is a civil war. Senseless murder, not killing, but murder all around especially this one scene everybody will be talking about. Acting was great. Great looking movie. The action in the 3rd act was phenomenal and loud. Some of the music selections were questionable. All in all, I liked the movie. The director played it safe instead of stepping in it politically.
I also hated what happened at the end. They were setting it up since act 2 and when it happened, I shook my head. Aren't there tunnels under the White House also.....

I think that's exactly the point that makes the film so good. It doesn't show which side has which ideals, because ideals have been discussed enough in recent years. It simply shows what a civil war in the USA would look like. In all its brutality. I think that's exactly the point. As a viewer, you shouldn't take sides because they represent the better ideology. You should just empathize with how a divided society is torn apart. And yes, in the end that's exactly what it is, senseless murder. No matter who started it, no matter who is seeking revenge, it never had to come to this. Even if all of this sounds like hippie babble. This film is simply an anti-war film. And any claim that this film divides people even more is absolute nonsense, if only because it shows these points.
But you're absolutely right about the tunnels under the White House. I'll add the word "panic rooms" here. 😅

This use to be one of my favorite channels. But over the last 6-8 months, they've put their greed on full display by basically hiding everything behind a paywall. Great way to kill you channel in case you guys didn't know that. And you can already see it in the declining view count. Unsubbing from this garbage, good luck with whatever your plan is. ✌️
