  • Celtic & Acadian music is a staple of Northern Nova Scotia, with Cape Breton fiddling at ceilidhs all over the place, just about every night. People are moved by the music to hop up and step dance, alone or in groups. It seems like everyone in Cape Breton knows how to step dance, since they were brought up with it as part of their culture.
This was recorded at Le Gabriel, one of the go-to places for nightly music. Two of Chéticamp's premiere musicians kept everyone tapping along all evening - Chrissy Crowley on fiddle and Jason Roach on piano.
