This famous SWASTHANI Temple lies in the northern part of KATHMANDU Valley and this famous and holy temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. So this temple lies at the bank of the famous SALINADI River SAKHU that mixes with the holy Bagmati River which flows through the heart of KATHMANDU Valley.
