In case anyone wants more of this experience the game is made by Platinum Games. All their games are like this. They also made NieR:Automata, Bayonetta, and Astral Chain just to name a few.

And amazing soundtrack. Bayonetta 2 and of course the 1st game are up there as well, but mostly 2 even more so because of the cool weapons and the best one of em all…the chain chomp. Also MadWorld is a hidden gem of the Wii era. Would be nice to see Sega remaster that game for current platforms. It’s such a fun game with an Art Style that still looks fantastic til this day. Oh, can’t forget about Wonderful 101 which is also great too, after watching Ina’s playthrough of the game, made me appreciate how fun the game was even moreso. Shoutout to world of demons. Great game with a great art style in the same vein as Okami, sure it’s stuck on Apple Arcade but it’s a solid arena/wave based action game for what it’s worth. If PG* ever expands on that IP and make like a console title, that would be nice.

Usually when they hit their last phase,or to put it better,the climax of their fight,the exceptions being armstrong and sam,only if sam is disarmed for the second phase the lyrics go away and the track transitions to an instrumental version of itself,also the same case in armstrong's final fight,if raiden is disarmed then the same situation with sam happens,and for this reason i feel like "it has to be this way" is raiden's song rather than armstrong's,since you're weilding sam's katana and a similar situation happens when you're disarmed,and the lines that parallels armstrong's speech at the end of the fight as a supposed answer
