Good video! Please appreciate that your testround was basically giving you the length from the boltface, whilst the Hornady tool indicates from the shoulder. Then measuring from the bullet tip instead of the bullet ogive gives you a few different tolerances stacking up. Cheers, Rene
Yep 2.859.0 run them. I have tried the Hornady Gauge on almost all my rifles trying to save time an end up not knowing where I'm at. A example how many times out of 5 measurement will you come up with the same number? I never have. I strictly go very old school like your doing. Love my Savage actions. Nice job!!! You are spot on, never the same meassurment.
