- In which I grind through an uninspiring build stage, but get happy once the paint flows. And I almost take up gardening in the process.

Beautiful Leopard, very well done! And thanks for not playing annoying music but commenting and explaining things, looking forward to your next builds. Subscribed.
Thanks Jester!
Awesome result !!❤ i love your voice and the small jokes you made on the video too 🥰
Thank you so much 😁
I see a Leopard video, I click. Great looking finish, the foliage and netting look fantastic! Thanks for the video.
😀 Thanks Marshal!
Very cool. I'm waiting till the weather warms up and I can get out to the garage to start building my small stockpile of models.
I also knew a girl in high school, with the nick- name of Bushy Leopard. It was the 1970's - she was vey popular.
Didn't we all...
Hi Boris, that was a absolutely outstanding build, your camo netting etc was also outstanding, I have also considered using that type of netting with maybe some type of tea leaves, best regards from Australia, Les
Thanks Les! I tried that once (I think I used marjoram of all things), and it worked somewhat. But I haven't found a "perfect" solution yet, and afaik there is nothing really useful on the market either.
Great video. I really enjoyed it.
Thanks Simon!
Great work! As a Leo 1A5 gunner, I have to say it's like going back in time.
Thank you!
That sir was a very informative video ! Keep up the great work 👍👍👍
Thanks! Happy you liked it!
I was also thinking that your work is even more incredible, giving how much your hands shake like mine. Then I realized you had just sped the video up.
Subscribed now, thanks.
Actually a good point, could have made that clearer. Or blame it on the coffee. Not sure yet.
Fantastic Leopard! Well done and thanks for sharing.
Thanks Dutchie!
Very nice!
Hi Boris! That Leopard looks great! I really like your painting approach for the camo. I like to work with a similar technique but for some reason I always paint the basecoat over the complete model. Now that seems like a waste of time and paint.
Can't wait to see more of your work!
Thank you! I guess it's a matter of personal taste - I almost always like my paints to go over a black base (apart from sandy tones, where I will usually use Mr Finishing surfacer Mahogany as a primer). It helps me with weathering later on, and I know how the paint I'm putting on will behave. No funny business with other colors shining through and changing the hue of the paint 😀
Sehr schönes Modell vom Leo. Danke für die Inspiration zur Verschmutzung des Laufwerks, ich hatte zu meinen im Bau befindlichen BeoPz keine Idee dies umzusetzen.
Danke - und gerne! 🙂
Fenomenal!!! 👍
Великолепно!!!
Plot twist: He's a Nightshift brother 😆
😂
Usually, Meng( along with other Chinese brands) is harder to build, too many parts, and some parts don't fit that well... how's this model?
There are lots of parts, especially because of the single link track - every link consists of five parts, and you need around 90 links per track. Fit in general is good, but some parts a a bit simplified. On the other hand this kit is about 10 years old, and Meng got much better since then. I built their F-4E Phantom recently, and it was lovely.
@RaikisanModelling single link tracks. That could be harder and time-consuming...
