- ***This was filmed 2 weeks before she ran aground in the vicinity of Igbon Island, Concepcion, Iloilo while underway to Cebu last August 8, 2022 at around 11pm. Passengers were then transferred to M/V Filipinas Nasipit (rescue ferry) the next day to ferry the passengers bound for Cebu.
We are documenting our overnight ferry ride onboard M/V Filipinas Cebu of Cokaliong Shipping Lines from Port of Iloilo / Port San Pedro Port in Iloilo City to Cebu City Pier 1. This also includes walking tour inside Port of Iloilo and a vessel walking tour into different accommodations of M/V Filipinas Cebu.

Hey, thanks for making this. I grew up actually taking this ferry a lot from Cebu to Samar when I was a kid to visit my family in Samar. The last time was about 6 years ago right before I moved to the US for school. Really nostalgic and a cool video to show my friends what it was like :)

Philippine ship passengers are really lucky now. In the mid 80's to 90's when I was going to school in Cebu from the province, the ships were small, dirty, slow, and always late on the schedule. A little bit of wind and waves toss us around like cats on a hammock, with our guts turned over vomiting everything out.....wasn't really fun.

Nice vlog about the Ferry, but you missed showing us one of the most important aspect of travel, that is the COMFORT ROOMS..does it have flowing water, is it clean, are there toilet papers, are the urinal bowls sanitized including the ? are there people cleaning it often. Sad to say, I rode on one their ferries to Surigao the comfort room leaves much to be desired. One last thing and of utmost importance, are the crews responsible and respect female passengers and not harass them. This is common when there are ship trainess on board, I have witnessed this kind of behavior by some crews who badger female passengers by asking for their names and addresses to the discomfort of the other passengers who want to sleep and rest.Again, I repeat are the crews well-trained, responsible, respectful and helpfull. If you have these in the Ferry that would be great. It seems the vlog is for damage control after that incident in Iloilo.
That’s tone of the most important thing the restrooms, it must be clean . Crews behavior towards female passengers, let’s say for socializing but this is not the time for especially it’s an overnight ferry some wanted to take some rest and relax . Respect for all passengers is a must . Anyway thanks for sharing . God bless.
Thanks for calling it out, I made sure the future vlogs has coverage on the restrooms. I totally agree that the crew should avoid those unwanted behaviors onboard. I hope that happened not recently as people are more aware these days than before. This is not a damage control vlog though, It is just coincidence. Amping..
