I've always cleaned it immediately after processing and have never had an issue with a bad smell. I think that's the key - just wash it right away. When this one dies, I'll get the next version. I absolutely love it, especially because we know exactly what is in the ice cream, and for us that means zero sugar.

I feel that a few of these things are not really cons of the Creami but cons to using a tool to prepare food rather than buying ready made. For example, I had a learning curve with my toaster, and the first cake I baked was soggy on the bottom and dry on the top because I didn’t get the temperature right on the oven. The other one was the preparation. I get it, but it’s easier for me to order a pizza than have the foresight to buy the ingredients as well.

Why not just invest in a tool that can be used for a whole slew of things instead of just being a one trick pony? A $200+ price tag for this gadget is steep as hell. I can make fruit sorbet super easily in my Vitamix blender, and that blender can do sooo much more for you and your diet than this waste of money and kitchen space “Ninja Creami.” A Vitamix can even cook SOUPS from scratch because it’s so powerful! Also, no need to plan in advance with the Vitamix. Just put all your frozen fruit into the blender, and it’s blended in a minute or two! Ninja Creami requiring to plan at least 24 hours in advance sucks!

@@Katkit537 For that kinda money, I’ll stick with my very versatile Vitamix blender to make sorbet. A bottom of the line high powered Vitamix blender can do sooo much more for the money investment, whereas the NC is a one trick pony that takes up extra precious storage room for my little kitchen. $200+ isn’t worth a subtle texture difference, imo! I’m sure it comes out great in the OP’s food processor too! I still want to get myself a food processor too in fact. That’s another tool that’s extremely versatile and can do things that a my Vitamix can’t. It’s worth the investment. If you had money to blow and tons of kitchen space for such specialized gadgets, than all the more power to ya. This machine is nothing like a food processor. You can't put a block of frozen anything in a food processor. This is a home version of the type of machine restaurants use to make ice cream on demand. Totally different technology and far more versatile.
That is the same problem I have with the ninja Nutri auto iq blender base for single smoothies. There is no way to clean it. The gasket is not meant to be removed but food gets stuck underneath it. So I worry about the safety/sanitary aspect of it. It is easier to use if you dont know there is food under there collecting bacteria but I know it's there so its gross. I wonder why Ninja has never addressed this problem.

What I am wondering is once you cream and your ice cream is ready, can I scoop it out to another container? It’s fun but so loud. Also wondering how anyone cleans the drill thing that goes into each ice cream since it retracts back into the machine. 🤷🏻♀️
Put a bit of soap in a pint and fill it up with hot water and run it for a cycle and it should be good to go
Ok thank you! I’ll do that.
@@RebornJonn Thanks for that. While trying to figure out what was wrong with my machine I noticed the part that comes down was chocolate brown. I cleaned it with a bottle brush, but your suggestion sounds better. What cycle do you run it on to clean it?
Put your thinking cap on! You will figure it out!
I make ice cream in the food processor using frozen e.g. banana or strawberries, easy peasy.

For that kinda money, I’ll stick with my very versatile Vitamix blender to make sorbet.
For your sake though, I do hope that the Ninja Creami isn’t similar to Ninja’s blender in quality though, where the blade is shitty and needs to be replaced every so often when it dulls. : /
This machine is nothing like a food processor. You can't put a block of frozen anything in a food processor. This is a home version of the type of machine restaurants use to make ice cream on demand. Totally different technology and far more versatile.
@@kratino Yes they are different, but you can put frozen fruit in a food processor and make ice cream.
@@Zuzzanna Well, sorbet, maybe. Still not the same.
@@Zuzzanna Not really, what you are talking about is a SORBET.
🤷🏽♂️ disagree. My family and I love the shit out of it and use it every day
That is the same problem I have with the ninja Nutri auto iq blender base for single smoothies.
I love mine I use it jut about daily
Looks like there are hardly anything bad about it. Those cons are just want to have something to say just for the sake of having it
Hey guys quick question. I just ordered my Ninja and will wait for a few days for it to arrive. What I am wondering is once you cream and your ice cream is ready, can I scoop it out to another container? I live in Greece and it will take a while to get other containers and we are big ice cream fans.
No, it has to be the Ninja container! Otherwise the Ninja does not work right and might get damaged.
Yes you can once it's ready and you want to store. Only use the mixing container in the machine.
@@bgueberdenteich5206 - they mean AFTER it's ready and done.
Just seen these in nz, crazy but they are between $300-$400
As you said, always having to have the pints, that’s why having a different ice cream maker can work because you can keep it in the freezer and then use it whenever
Thank you. This was very helpful!
Super great review! Love your honesty!
Im a super big ninja fan, but I couldn't fathom spending that much money on top of buying additional accessories when the Cuisinart is $200 cheaper and have a better concept. I rather freeze the bowl rather than the ingredients.
I love ninja products, but this just seems to blend the ingredients..
You will not get it SILKY SMOOTH in you cuisinart!
@@bgueberdenteich5206 Actually I do. It's way better honestly
OMG The Breeze version is EASY to clean and I’ve saved a fortune by making sugar free high protein ice cream that is insanely good. You’re way off. I use it every day.
the BREEZE IS Discontinued.
Hi, Tried tested and true(from your opinion)-----YOU dont say pro or cont definitely one way or the other YOU play both sides.....horrendous....guessing. you got the free product for doing the spiel....et..
Just as the Politian's do .
I feel like there are better options to choose from. Thanks!
There are not
Yes. A $6000 restaurant machine.
I have been wondering about this too!
I WAS CAUGHT UP IN THE UA-cam HYPE.😩 I would not buy the product again. Not a product I use frequently. So therefore i do not want it taking up storage space on my kitchen counter. I love your channel for all the product reviews, tips, advice & recipes. Thank you 👏👏❤️
Wow, you are missing many low-cal healthy treats! I love mine !
@@bgueberdenteich5206I need to get mine out & look for more Low Calorie recipe. I am such a huge Ice Cream fan & I always over eat my portions. So, thanks for the reminder for the low-cal & healthy choice aspect .That why I bought it❤️
I need to see you actually using the blender. All you are doing is talking.
Cool,
Sorry, but good Lord, what do you want it to do? Clean itself? Perhaps, owner laziness might be an issue! 😂😂😂
🙄
Can u putting cookie dough in this machine like Ben and Jerry’s
As an add-in.
New ones just as bad
Having to freeze the pints first makes this thing completely useless 😂
You look like Kimiko from The Boys
expensive for a mixer
You have never made ice cream for you to think it's "blending".
Looks like crushed up ice cubes.
Sounds like your just being lazy
All these people running out to grab this just because people on tik tok are doing it are so gullible to these big companies marketing tactics
Too noisy, so I returned mine.
2.30 minutes of it it 'on' and too loud? Makes great icecream who cares about the sound it makes?
Just sounds like a complainer lol
$300 for a $30 blender 🤔😂
