This video compliments Slapafish Jr.'s in depth analysis of each piece of kit. I have found, with a few exceptions, I load Rapid Loading, Enhanced Target, and Vertical Stabilizer, on pretty much everything. The fourth piece is usually "tank" specific. For instance, on German tanks I load Reinforced Ammo Rack, on light tanks I usually go with Third Zoom or Advanced Power Train depending on the mission. Lastly, for the M3a2 and BMP3, off goes the Vertical Stabilizer and on goes a Camo Net along with Third Zoom.
I have found these pieces to compliment a fully upgraded commander the most for my play style.
One thing I like to do that I see you usually don't is to drop Advanced Target Info for another piece of equipment to squeeze that much more effectiveness out of a vehicle. Really great for tanks on the front line that don't have to worry about shooting through bushes. Probably only a good idea for players that have a lot of knowledge of weak spots for a majority of tanks but even then it's not too hard to guess most of the time
havnt a single tank that i keep adv targeting on. not useful enough for me
I’m new to wot. I just switched over from world of warships and I took that off one of my tanks to get a 4th mod in and I was thinking it’d still show the outline of a tank, just not the penetration value. I don’t need it until I need it and can make out where on the tank I’m aiming.
@@trentenfaranda9590 is really good for new players. 90% of your issues when learning is going to be missing shots because you don't know exactly what you're shooting. 10% faster loading time or whatever (which you will probably already have as your first slot) isn't going to make up for that blindness. No shame, use it, you'll know when dropping it is going to be worth it.
I just got a Gigabyte M32UC 4k gaming monitor and went from playing WOT in 1080p to 4k in HDR and I have to say... that's the best piece of equipment I've purchased for the game. My PS5 comes in a week so hopefully 120 hertz is an upgrade also.
As a long time tanker I’ve changed my opinion many times and the reload or dps perk and equipment are cool but not necessary as most players are unable to capitalize on the tanks dpm I’d really like to see you cover a video explaining to new players some advanced downtime usage🫡
Thank you for the video pal it helped me alot, much appreciated 👍
No problem 👍
Should have opened with the fact that you use the camo net on the grille 15, would have saved me some time XD
When I 1st started I spent most games getting deleted by arty so I spent all my time equipping tanks with things that keep it alive longer which was utterly pointless.
For ww2 vision, gun handling, camo/vents. Although I love spall liners, I play aggressive with heavies so I atract clickers often and spall liners make such a difference.
CW mode is where different equipment set ups really come into its own , combined with some of the skills equipment can be tailored to your playstyle.
I often get slated by those that have been programmed that spalliners are for noobs but my heavies do very well in CW and most have spall combined with several perks.
Excellent 👍
Excellent run down.
I pretty much only play lights, mediums, and TD's. I put the same three pieces of equipment on nearly all of them. I put on optics, camo, and the loader. If it can't take the loader, I put on the stabilizer. If it can't take the loader or stabilizer, I put on the spall liner.
I see you took my advice. NICE!!!
A spall liner does reduce the splash damage of artillery rounds.
I don't think it does reduce penetrating HE rounds from any vehicle, like if you were playing WT auf E100 w/spall liner
@@Hagurmert I said splash damage.
@@johnryan6658 I know but it is very minimal, you won't see a significance.
If they actually worked properly, it wouldve been a good equipment piece
Yes it is. Twice happend me bounce shot from arty.
I put loader, vents and gun stab in almost every tank...
I ram light tanks with my light tank, like when they over aggress I will ram them to stop them dead in their tracks and half a second later 4 shells come in from my team, they have one less light tank, less vision, our chances of winning have gone up a lot
what should i put on the T-54
I wish there were four *proper* equipment slots. I hate that the threw in the fourth slot but filled it with the advanced targeting…which should be default.
PC gets a whole bunch of equipment slots, and opens up a door to countless different build possibilities. I wish console was the same.
I’d also like to see live statistics when in the equipment menu. I want to know how big a difference I’m making without having to spend half a million silver on a piece of equipment I may not actually want. Again…PC has it!
What is the maximum view of range that we could get by using proper equipment and proper skills commander on a tank at ww2 (the 445 is no accurate), I am getting above 500 but I am not sure if I could squeeze for more view of range yet by using the proper tank for it
love the traction system for the better traverse
i dont think anyone should be using the "advanced" power train system or the traction system on any tank, the percentage bonuses are very weak and do next to nothing. i wish we had the turbo like they on on the pc version, i'd use it on a lot of tanks and it would be fun to use. the main four is advanced loader, vents, optics, and the thing that gives 20% accuracy. those are really the only ones that people should be using, camo ne is pretty nice too though now that its activated all all the timea and you don't need to be sitting still anymore. shame most of the equipment is useless
Is wot modern armor the only wot you can get, because i see alot of videos from a year or so ago the garage looks completely different. Can somone please explain this to me
Thanks for tips 👍
What crew skills would you use on the snakebite?
Imo, if you need enhanced targeting, you are not that good at the game.
the only tank where using a spall liner is acceptable is the E50M
Opinion on Japanese heavy tanks?
thanks
5/4 cant turn worth a beans
You’re very informative but you seem to ramble on I wish you would just get more to the point.
camo is pointless on a heavy...and reduce aim time is essential with guns over 2.8 aim time..these are fact..imo..you wanna keep your gun accuracy under 1 meter at 500yrds..and aim time under 2.5 for the best gun handling..unless your a pure sniper...a dying bread nowadays..camo is pointless with 100kh tanks with spotting view of 550...imo DPM IS KING..NOTHING CAME MAKE UP FOR IT...imo Vents..Rammer..Stab..is 90% of your load out
I thought camo might be good on heavies to avoid artillery since their easier slower targets for them. 🤔
In my opinion, it's view range. You have no chance against a target you can't see. You can't fire back if you can't see them, plus spotting damage is a good way to supplement the earnings on any tank. Though DPM is still important, too. Every tank I play has a rammer and optics, and either a gun stabilizer or vents. Unless it's a particularly derpy tank, then I go for the gun laying drive.
@@magisterrleth3129 the big mistake people make when they are out viewed is they try to stay back. Big mistake. You have to move in cover and find some way to get close enough to even the odds. Otherwise you just sit there and get picked apart. It's like boxing someone with longer arms than you. You MUST get close enough that you can hit back. It is the only way. A lot of heavies are not able to establish enough view range and concealment to have a net gain anyway. They will still be seen before they can see. So, you have to learn to bounce shots. It is the only way. Then once you get close enough to do damage, make sure you can get payback with reload and accuracy.
I was wondering if WG was considering neutering the majority of the Russian heavies based on their pitiful performance in the Ukraine ?!
i was wondering when i would find a clown spewing nonsense about real life that has noth to do with the game.🤡🤡
