I well remember Jason being viewed as next to useless at Sunderland, where Brighton signed him from. At the transfer date, Sunderland fans were saying that they were glad to see the back of him, and this presented a distorted viewpoint of the guy and his abilities. Having to wait for almost five years, as other keepers took the number One shirt, is testament to his character, and to end up now being the favoured keeper, with some remarkable displays, like last night against United, suggests that he is a huge asset to the club. Well done Jason … you’ve proved all those past doubters so wrong.

He doesn’t pull off worldie saves, but is usually solid with his hands and exceptional with our possession/build up front the back style. Don’t understand the need to rotate him at the moment.
