What do you use for the wax strip?
Hi Cathy, thank you for making this tutorial. It simplifies waxing and I will definitely try it.
You're welcome and good luck!
The steps seem so easy to follow, and that's why I'm subscribing 👌🏿
This is so helpful, I’m definitely trying it! I’m new at this though, and I was just wondering if you’ve seen any side effects from sugar waxing? I’ve heard it decreases elasticity, but also that it helps your skin.
1. Follow the recipe measurements exactly, I just cooked it for a few minutes longer to get the color in the video because I started with very low heat (it was my first time so I was scared to over cook it).
2. I placed my glass container in a warm water bath for at least 10 minutes before pouring in the hot wax.
3. After pouring the wax and placing the lid, I drained a little bit of the warm water and started adding ice cubes (five to six cubes every 10 seconds) so that there is not temperature shock.
4. After two hours my wax got very hard so I placed it in very hot water bath for about 9 minutes and melted right away. Again be careful with temperature change slowly add very hot water so there is no shock.
5. The wax should be like lava texture it should move pretty slowly in the glass container.
6. Apply a very very thin layer in the direction of your hair on your face/ body and then remove it with a wax strip.
7. I have saved the remaining wax in my pantry (if you are scared on ants or bug attacking it, sprinkle some cinnamon around it)
8. Happy waxing!
I followed the steps well but it froze🥲💔
@@Lala.Apap77 you can melt it back by placing the bottle in warm to hot water, I place my bottle in the pot of regular water, the amount of water I use is just to get the wax part in not submerging the whole bottle. Then I turn the stove on on low and let it heat slowly for about 9 minutes or till it reaches lava consistency
@@mehreenhassan93 When I use it on the skin should it be hot or cold?
@@Lala.Apap77 warm or as hot as you can handle without burning yourself, so when you reheat it the consistency should resemble honey, it’s still pretty thick if it starts to move around to easy like water. It is still good but it might be a bit hot for the skin
@@mehreenhassan93 ok thank you 💕
I’ve put this off for a year! Glad I waited and just found your pleasant, easy post today. I’ve now made the wax and can’t wait to try it. My last hope. Even though you appear hairless I appreciate your helpful advice. I doubt you ever had enough hair to worry about, unlike me, but again, appreciate you sharing your knowledge. -Kate
Is lemon juice necessary? And can we apply this to our face??
I thought with sugar wax you spread the wax on the hair in the opposite direction of hair growth, then when you remove the sugar wax strip you pull it off in the same direction of the hair growth. If you use regular wax (NOT sugar wax) you apply it and remove it just as you demonstrated here in the video. Applying regular wax in the direction of hairgrowth and removing it in the opposite direction of hair growth.
Its work ❤ i done it
Can you use this without wax strips!?! I was hoping to do the method where I take a glob and apply and rip..?
Thank you for this!!
Do you know a way to get rid of dark knuckles?
Omgg thank you so much for this!!
Hey thx so much for this vid just I wanted to know where you got ur wax strips from ?
I am using a muslin cloth that you can get from amazon or rip up an old t-shirt that also works great!
@@CathyLulu thx a lot it really helps keep going with ur vids hope some day you will get big
Can i store it on a steel container and then give it an ice bath ?
Where can I get the container?
It became ice cold sugar after cooling for 2 hours. What should I do
I have a doubt- What do you mean by wax strip like what should we use?? (Except for the muslin cloth, is there an alternative?)
There are wax strips available in the market for those cold wax. She's talking about that (maybe).
@@yuna_k4599 Thanks I'll look into that
Can you tell me how much sugar in mg and how much water/ lemon juice in ml?
you can use a converter for that!
Can I make this routine , and sell it in the markert
yes
