My style icon is definitely David Bowie! I'm inspired by the Odyssey of his style: the minimalist 60s with casual shirts and skinny ties, Ziggy Stardust from the late 60s, the Alexander McQueen Union Jack coat from the 80s. David Bowie was the first in pop culture to wear androgynous clothes, he brought a theatricality to rock music that no one else could replicate. Thanks Robin for the new format and new video! I'm enjoying!
Interestingly, but I think I know what that 21y girl at 8:10 might like. She should check McQueen sneakers. If you looking for something cheaper, maybe Lagerfeld sneakers on a high sole with Lagerfeld's Icon on them. I personally prefer Black and White colour combo.
Nice video! It was nice seeing you in Porto not long ago, I was hoping you made a video from here too :) Regarding style icons, probably David Beckham, Johannes Huebl, Gerard Sabe
Robin, loved the male & female interviews. Eases my fear to mix ‘n match, and cross the line of gender accessories. I’m a senior ma from L.A.; I believe I can make it work
Robin, I would rather you stick with just men, as there are so few blogs / vlogs for men's style and grooming exclusively. Women have literally thousands of style and grooming blogs / vlogs available to them. Thanks.
yes! Aveda Thickening Tonic or Label M Thickening Tonic. Also, these are some 'thickening' favourites: manforhimself.com/products/?fwp_product_thicker_hair_tags=thickening
Yeah this M&F combo worked well. Fashion is def blurring in terms of gender etc and the LA couple showcased that effortlessly, didn’t feel contrived at all. I also like how you included all the people in head to toe ASOS and Zara felt more realistic than a lot of channels, who evidently cherry pick the labels gang. That’s not what most people will be wearing on the street and it’s so obvious. Surprised at how little street wear and designer labels tbh for Oxford St, Piccadilly/Cov G etc. Ever thought of doing one of these vids in Hoxton/Shoreditch, could be interesting? Also why did the musical producer, Tegan not tell us who he was wearing when he repeatedly stressed how important style was to him?
My style is a blend of Mads Mikkelsen’s suited, somewhat dark academia but chic aesthetic and Keanu Reeves’ laidback but well put together, darker, black outfits.
Styles are very unisex so you were smart to include women! Women have been watching and copying men’s style for ages and now men are getting ideas from women’s styles.
It’s not that rare a look for London tbh and in LA prob more the norm... Even Shoreditch or Brighton you would see looks like this it’s not unusual. Cropped tops in men’s fashion are a trend of 2023 and tank tops etc spec in US are v popular. Oversize men’s shirts on women are still popular too afaik. I’m not a fan of their looks but it wasn’t extreme like some and style is all about confidence and owning your look, they def did.
Which old days are you talking about, because there have been lots of incarcerations of mens and women’s fashions over the decades. I personally think saying people look “homeless” is unnecessary
Well in the 50s and 60s ,most of these looks would look rather funny and definitely pass as "homeless". But times have changed and fashion unfortunately too.

Sorry London.... Robin stole the show with that look today! Absolute 🔥🔥🔥
Ha ha... Thanks, Aaron!
love this series -- you should do a street styled in berlin as well
Thank you! And I would really love to do one in Berlin.
Was always wondering how Robin's communication with women will look like
As you expected?
@@ManForHimself Much better than I would imagine 😁.
Waiting for a new episodes!

Yes! Such an icon. And you are most welcome. Glad you enjoyed it.
This show is like opening a Christmas present. Thanks so much.

Solid looks!

I loved this! Well done Robin (loved your style btw)
Thanks, Carl.
Andre and Tanya look soooo good
Hannah, Dior, and Angela all ripped it ❤
Are there Target stores in the UK?

I was about to say that, there isnt many out there with such a cool take on mens style as Robin. Please dont deviate from that.
Thanks for the feedback.
It’s a valid point, good reasoning…as much as I’m interested in both, when you dissect it, it does dilute the amount of looks we see as guys.
Same here robin
@@ManForHimselfsame here robin
Yev. Her outfit slayyy
I love Austin outfit..❤ and UMI outfit ❤
Hello Robin, can you recommend a thickening spray without texture?
yes! Aveda Thickening Tonic or Label M Thickening Tonic. Also, these are some 'thickening' favourites: manforhimself.com/products/?fwp_product_thicker_hair_tags=thickening
Jeff the Style O.G. is my style icon.

SO, we shot one in Shoreditch. Coming soon!
In what world are ripped jeans and a crop-top considered smart-casual ? 😂
Hannah is outstanding
oh Dior slayed that
Dior most certainly did!
"Dad was a film director and Mother a playboy bunny" not sure the relevance but good to know 😂
I just realized who this guy looks like: The lead singer of the band "Fun."
Can we get another Tom Ford counter fragrance testing with that guy from Fenwick for the new Myhrre Mystere?
Ooh, I would love that. He was so great!
Hi Robin, What are the shoes called from Zara so I can nail them down?
Hey! Found them here: www.zara.com/uk/en/leather-mule-moccasins-p12412220.html?v1=267187059
@@ManForHimself You weren’t kidding about crushing the back down… hahah that’s crazy, how does it not weaken it and ruin the shoe
Daniel Craig is my style ikon
Ooh, really good one! He looks incredible. There's an Instagram account documenting his outfits. Have you seen it?
@@ManForHimself Yep
Missed you were you bin
Just chipping away! Very much in the work zone. Hope you enjoyed this one.
Style icon for me is certainly David Beckham
Can you do some on big guys? tall or big?
Absolutely - always keeping an eye out.
Hey tío Robin welcome to Peruvian
Would love to visit Peru.
My style is a blend of Mads Mikkelsen’s suited, somewhat dark academia but chic aesthetic and Keanu Reeves’ laidback but well put together, darker, black outfits.
Ooh, really love the sound of this!
Oooooo this is new......
It really is. Hope you enjoyed it.
My style Icon is Payne Stewart. Sadly no longer with us anymore
Style icons - Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn
Classics! I really like this.
Styles are very unisex so you were smart to include women! Women have been watching and copying men’s style for ages and now men are getting ideas from women’s styles.
Great video! Just a suggestion for future episodes, could you include more plus size people. ❤
Absolutely. Always on the lookout for good style, regardless of body shape. Good style is good style!
Sam’s @?
Love from Pakistan 🇵🇰 ❤
Hey!
For selfish reasons, I prefer that you only interview men so I can get style ideas 😬
A bit of both in this one. Hope you still enjoyed it.
C 85 reebok
Molly looked great but for a job interview? What job was it?
Besides the dog walker and the Ralph Lauren Sales guy, they all look awful! The couple from LA and AUS, i mean God what is that?
Totally agree! London needs to step its pussy up if this is all it has to offer😮
It’s not that rare a look for London tbh and in LA prob more the norm... Even Shoreditch or Brighton you would see looks like this it’s not unusual. My (current) style icons are: Johnny Depp, Billie Eilish, Cole & Dylan Sprouse, Harry Styles, Kurt Cobain, Daniel Simmons & Tim Dessaint
A solid list there!
@@ManForHimself I like variety, but it changes every now and then to whatever i feel comfortable wearing.
most of these look homeless. back in the old days men wore suits everyday and women wore much stylish colourful clothing
Which old days are you talking about, because there have been lots of incarcerations of mens and women’s fashions over the decades.
