Well done cisco...I think engineers will appreciate FDM better than ASDM specifically for ASA5506x

This new on-box manager (FTD) will surely replace Cisco Adaptive Security Device Manager (ASDM)....Kudos to cisco

Hello Nanda, I’m trying to upgrade my Cisco ASA 5516 to FTD, when I got into rommon mode , I lost connectivity between my TFTP sever(My laptop)to ASA but I can connect to ASA in normal mode, I’m using port gig1/8 to assign dhcp add to TFTP server, DHCP pool enable on that port. Do you know why can’t I connect from ROMMON mode?

does FTD support transparent mode? and is it limited to 8 bridge groups like ASA?

Yes it support on FTD managed through FMC. you can create 250 Bridge groups with 4 interface per Bride group. More info www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/firepower/601/configuration/guide/fpmc-config-guide-v601/fpmc-config-guide-v601_chapter_01101010.pdf#unique_600

how can i resolve this message? "The Firepower Device Manager application cannot be opened. Please try again.
If the problem persists, try resetting the manager. Log into the CLI, then issue configure manager delete followed by configure manager local. Then, log into Firepower Device Manager and complete the device setup wizard. If resetting the manager does not resolve this problem, please reimage the device using the most recent Firepower Threat Defense software release."
