Hey David, once again great content - I have been saying for a few years now that FTD is a really great firewall solution. I remember deploying multiple clusters of the 4100 series and 9300 series chassis. Correctly configured these are great devices sometimes a little complicated but highly customizable. Please keep up this type of content!
Thanks so much for sharing again David. We have a Cisco firepower 2110 firewall. Usually we have a Sr Engineer configure it but I really want to learn the ins and outs as well as get more familiar with the dashboard. Same with Cisco ISE. CML is looking pretty good. Was trying to decide between that and eve-ng. Whichever one uses less resources pretty much. I will go through this more.
When David said I will bring you in-depth and advanced concepts he meant business. This was a great decision! Because at this level the audience is expected to have some knowledge. It will be great to know how he managed to run third party images on CML, For example I will love to run Fortinet, Juniper, or Aruba on CML
Great! Fire power is not as scary as I thought. It would be nice if we have a video showing us how to setup CML from scratch and how to use other vendor images on it.
Thanks for making this for CML. I have almost 0 experience with firewall configuration. Never imagined this content would be available for me. Plus, isn't the world on Palo Alto? I know I'm a couple of years late to the party.
I'm currently working with FortiGates but I'm always looking for more deep dive firewall stuff. Nowadays firewalls can do a lot more than just filter traffic: SSL VPNs, sandbox mode, various DPI modes, app filtering, virtualization, you name it.
Hello Mr Bombal could u, plz tell us bite about the link between networking and, quantum computing is there any specialist that can give us some examples , and what will the outcome of networking in the next years .
System resources are big issues when it comes to security labs. I easily ran out of ram and cpu by installing FTD and FMC in eve-ng. If you want to have a domain and other nodes, even a server doesn't fulfill the requirements. 😥

thank you for the video ! I want to combine network and security to go into the network-security field, so this is very helpful !

Great stuff, watching from Ghana 🇬🇭
It's certainly out of the box and quite relevant thanks so much Sir
Do a deployment of FTDv on AWS and talk about the VPN configurations

Hello David, security inside the network will be great for the future, ise, stealthwatch, amp or other solutions
Thank you

I suggest you stay where you are. This is a terrible firewall
@@eddurguticomment isn’t any better lol
Super nested firewall rules. Nothing could go wrong there.
lol
I see this all the time with firewalls....only it wasn't on purpose and was simply the result of failure to properly deprovision.
Good work!
Thank you! Donald is great!
