If I remember correctly that twitter account was made because she says a bunch of climate change stuff but she was using her private jet to fly to places for like, a couple hours and then fly back or something since it had the date and times of the flights too. That's why they include all the emissions stuff and whatnot as a way to say "Look at this hypocrite flying in her jet multiple times a day and polluting the atmosphere trying to tell us to stop polluting the atmosphere."
The point of that account is too show the hypocrisy of people like her who denounce climate change and how we: average joes... Are literally Hitlers for polluting the environment with our humble everyday lifestyle... ALL WHILE THIS FAMISHED BARN ANIMAL POLLUTE PER TRAVEL AS MUCH AS 1O PEOPLE IN A DAY!!!

Also folklore and evermore are both indie albums so she does write indie. She writes other genres as well. The first two were very country, Speak Now still had country but it also gave her a big pop rock and musical theater audience. RED was a mostly country and electro pop album but it alsofeatured rock. 1989, Reputation, Lover, and Midnights were all very pop. And Tortured Poets Department was extremely synth heavy.

He's critizing the fact that Taylor Swift calls for saving the climate and lowering CO2 emissions, yet drops more in one day than a family of four would in a year. The thing with the private jet is more complex. Its not because she uses it, its cuz she uses it like 3x per day more than some people use cars, and jet fuel is so damaging to the environment
yeah I was looking at that one tweet where all her 2023 flights are compiled and it's insane what short distances she flies and how often she just flies home while being on tour
The biggest problem I see here is the fact that she never shuts up about climage change. Yes, she can afford to fly that much and probably needs to but she gets all high and mighty, telling people to save the planet. It's very hypocritical.

Generally I agree with you with a lot of stuff regarding Taylor Swift, people take a lot of shit regarding her too seriously, she is a great artist and overall very successful. What I do disagree is that we shouldn't care about her private jet use. It is baffling to me, that she emits so much emissions. People are mad because 1. It is terrible for the environment, and there are other alternatives, I am not going to say that she shouldn't use a private jet at all, just that she uses it way too much. 2. A lot of policies regarding climate change are directed to regular people, yet she makes more contamination than most people will ever make in their lives, shit maybe more than small cities at this point. She should 100% be held accountable for how careless she is about it. I am not saying she should be put in jail or something crazy, but she shouldn't be able to use a private jet so much, or anyone for that matter.
As someone who works in entertainment and is an aspiring artist (and a bit of a jet enthusiast) I have a few points:
1. A lot of times, you have to be from point A to point B quickly, so alternatives would likely take way to long. For example (I'm making up a scenario here.) say she (or any artist really) has a concert Friday night in LA, then Sunday night in Houston, what would likely happen there is: The artist finishes the concert around 10 or 11 pm, maybe a quick meet and greet after. They finally leave the venue around 12 to 1 am on Saturday. Next, they probably eat 'dinner' and MAYBE go home (If they live in LA) or to a hotel and get an hour or 2 of sleep, or (more likely) they go straight to the airport (plane is the fastest way to travel, a car would take 22+ hours, Train would take a day and a half.) now here's where the Jet comes into play LA to Houston on a commercial plane is an nearly 4 hour flight, whereas on a jet it's around 2 and a half, as well as a jet being more get on and go, and much less likely to be delayed (and then a whole bunch of yada yada about the safety and privacy of the artist, especially one at Taylor's level). Now 1 1/2 hours doesn't seem long, but that's 1 1/2 hours extra for stage prep, practice, label meeting, etc. A whole lot goes on behind the scenes at a concert. Now had the artist taken a public plane, would it still be possible to put on the concert? Of course, but there would be a whole lot of risk associated with the lost time, the sound could be off, something can break, yada yada.
2. The jet produces less fumes than a commercial plane, at least she's not flying a private 737. Plus with all the planes already flying, I doubt the jet would be the straw that breaks the camel's back
3. The jet, like most modern planes, is most likely running on some sort of Eco or renewable fuel
4. That jet is probably keeping some pilot's family fed
5. That jet likely costs around 40 - 50 million and another million or so yearly in maintenance and all that, I would personally be trying to get my money's worth
5 1/2. Sure she can sell it, but the next person would fly it too, nothing would really change
Now I'm not saying something like a flight from Burbank to LAX is excusable (I don't think she did that, I just made that up), but for anything longer than a 1 1/2 - 2 hour car drive (and even that's a bit of a stretch because of traffic and the uncertainty) would likely require a flight. I see what your points were but I hope this helps you understand the situation a bit better.
