Many thanks for this information! Pls make more videos like this explaining why you do certain steps in abnormal procedures in detail. It makes it easier to understand. Cheers!
Tks for your Video, I'm an engineer A320 family. Your video help me understand more about Normal brake and Alternate Brake with or without anti-skid. Good Weekend :D
With pleasure captain, and many thanks for the great support and encouragement behavior, please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any advice regarding these training sessions Haytham aly from aviation training solutions
Wait I thought in case of normal braking failure the alternate or the ABCU takes over and the yellow pressure is used but when both fail u turn the anti skid off so that u can brake using the accumulator pressure that’s why in the memory item it mentions a limit of 1000 psi
please mr ali add that before turning off the antiskid the most important is that: pilot should first remove his feet from pedal and then off the anti skid. thank you
Hello friend and thanks for your question, the accumulator is not decrease when I move the switch because the Yello system is pressurized with the yellow electric pump, the yellow electric pump not the accumulator, so if the yellow pump is off, so the accumulator will be used and as you said will sure decrease with each application, thanks again and please don't hesitate to advice and comment on our training sessions at aviation training solutions, from the team, your host was haytham aly
Yes, that a case for dual hydraulics G+Y failures with yellow not recovered then you have accumulator pressure only for braking. He just trying to demonstrate how we revert to alternate braking by putting a/skid & n/w strg off. All systems are normally pressurized on this video.
Yup friend, as when you put the Antiskid switch to off it move the braking from the normal green system to the alternate yellow system, you are right 👉, many thanks for your comment and please advice about any concern regarding my aviation training solutions, Regards Haytham aly
Sir pls note the following.......1)As soon as normal brakes (green system)fail, alternate brake on yellow system comes on automatically as a back up and there is no need to put Steering sw to off.......pls re check .In fact by putting anti sw to off you are yourself making anti skid system non available to you during alternate brakes. as soon as green fails brakes automatically BSCU apply on alternate brakes and yeloow tripple presure now indicates yellow pressure .Why put ant skid sw off !!
Hello sir, as there is an abnormal in braking after landing and the aircraft veer to one side may be due to Antiskid problem, if you disengage the Antiskid so the problem may solved, so this is the main reason, to disengage the Antiskid system and the steering, generally to disengage any electrical feature in the brake system, and you are right when a problem done with the green or the normal braking, it is automatically switch to the alternate, but also when you put the switch off, it confirm this step, many thanks sir for your care and your comment and plesse don't hesitate to contact me if you have any advice regarding this training sessions, from Aviation Training solutions, your host was haytham aly, an aviation technical instructor
Yap, this is what I confused, which it indeed switch automatically, but the SOP tells us to switch it off, then what do we need it as it will switch off eventually. (BSCU has its own antiskid function, and won't be control by this switch if I wasn't wrong)
Many thanks for this information!

Galing nga sir... detail sya mag explain. Nakakatulong. Nag subscribe ako sa kanya. Napaka informative nito.
This is a real golden nugget. Thank you
You are very welcome ☺️

you are welcome
Thank you very much for explaining systems like this one! It is very helpful during my type rating.

Sir you are amazing what an informative vedios is this.
Many thanks brother , please stay tuned for more videos
@@Haytham_Aly sure sir
fantastic Aly....really understood it now...great!!!
Most welcome 😍

Also limited to 7 applications of brakes and the alternate braking is used through the accumulator pressure not the yellow hydraulic pressure 🙂
Nice, thanks !

Thanks for the added value
Nice 👍

You are very welcome, please watch video regarding aircraft pressurisation
Why didn’t the triple tree move under normal psi of yellow and green systems
Triple pressure indicator is only for alternate yellow system ,
Not the normal
Are you a pilot my friend or aircraft maintenance engineer???
جزاك الله خير

Good guy
why didn't the accumulator decrease when you turn off the A/SKID if the alternate braking was working?
Hello friend and thanks for your question, the accumulator is not decrease when I move the switch because the Yello system is pressurized with the yellow electric pump, the yellow electric pump not the accumulator, so if the yellow pump is off, so the accumulator will be used and as you said will sure decrease with each application, thanks again and please don't hesitate to advice and comment on our training sessions at aviation training solutions, from the team, your host was haytham aly

Hello, so for the brake without anti-skin, will be actuated for alternative brake?
Yup friend, as when you put the Antiskid switch to off it move the braking from the normal green system to the alternate yellow system, you are right 👉, many thanks for your comment and please advice about any concern regarding my aviation training solutions,
