203 was the only skip for me but uncontrollable hunger and pans dream are two of the best songs of the year
Its crazy to me how they can keep it fresh but sound like Emmure. This album blew me away. They are at a high level right now. Im really digging it

@@theshortchrisrockshow1641 Never seen a place go up like when Emmure supported Parkway in London years ago and kicked off with Solar Flare Homicide. Absolute chaos all around me. They were so good it was almost surreal
Joshua Travis is so much better than this. Emmure is his main gig these days, but literally everything else he's done is 10 time better than Emmure.
I listened to this album hoping I would hear some Tony Danza riffage only to be disappointed.
What a perfect review of exactly what emmure go for. Awesome
I'm in love with Hindsight, I feel like it's the best thing Emmure has done since Speaker of the Dead. I love John Travis, I loved Glass Cloud, and The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza. He is definitely what Emmure needed, and obviously the bassist and drummer are incredible too, and their styles compliment Josh perfectly. Not trying to take anything away from the past Emmure members, sure they were really good and I hope they succeed with the music they are making, but I feel as if this lineup of Emmure is its best.
So nobody noticed that he names like 8 different core bands in the hook? Fit for a king, thy art is murder, stray from the path, pass me the crown and so on lol
About you asking how he makes his 8 string sound like this. He doesn’t he’s using a 9 string guitar lol

You really need to listen to Flag Of The Beast! This is a longer song but it's really heavy and super groovy and nu-metal like. This is one of their few songs that sound the most like their biggest influence: Limp Bizkit.
Flag of the beast felt too mainstream for me.. least heaviest song off LAY. & that’s comin from an emmure diehard.
Thunder Mouth blows (in terms of nu-Metal) flag of the beast out the water.. way heavier too
@@scubaowen226 it's whatever man. I just thought of one of my favorite longer Emmure songs that would be good for a reaction. I'd tell him to react to Smokey but it's super short like most of Emmure's songs, and I'd thought Birb would enjoy it more. I'm more a Respect Issue guy myself anyways.
Aaradicatiøn I think, since I grew up on the albums, I got tired of the repetitiveness w/ those albums.. then once look at yourself came out, it’s like their sound, but different. Why I’ve loved this lineup change. This new album is nuts & mental.. took me a 2nd listen to fully appreciate it. Smokey is an absolute BANGER.

Hmm really eh? I know The Acacia Strain had some history with a shooter wearing their hoodie but that's all the bad publicity that I know from that band

For someone who doesn’t like songs that are just breakdowns I’m surprised you like this. I love breakdowns and don’t like this album but each to their own. Loving the reaction videos anyway 👌🏻
as an emmure fan since their first album, this one was just ok for me. half are bangers, half are fillers. not to mention they are all so short now. thunder mouth is by far my favorite track though, and maybe top 5 from emmure overall.
Have to agree with ya bud something with this Cd isn’t doing it for me and I have been a huge fan since Goodbye to the Gallows. Some bangers and some fillers, so confusing when last cd was fire

This was such a bleh album to me. Really boring songs that aren’t produced horribly but not executed in the right way. Lamb of gods album was way better especially in the deep tracks and I hope you end up doing a reaction to that
Betraying the martyrs - man made disaster is a great song to review
Speaker of the dead, felony,, eternal enemies, and slave to the game is where its at not this new shit.
Gotta say that i'm not that into the new album of Emmure so far. I really liked their previous one and the others but this one so far isn't doing it for me really :/

Sadly this is Emmure’s worst albums. Repeating riffs in ever song and awful lyrics. And I love emmure 😞

It's probably meant to be a bit cringey when Frankie drops so many band names like that.
But it's a cool track that is either shouting out or calling out those bands, depending on the perspective you take.
Yes some of this riffs are straight recycled from previous cds, was so stoked for this release as a long time Emmure fan but this one missed the mark 😩
