It’s been damn near 25 years since this was released and I still crack the hell up when Em says “Ah-ah, temper, temper… Mr. Dre, Mr. N.W.A, Mr. AK comin' straight outta Compton, y'all better make way!” 😂 This song is so nostalgic.
And that Dee Barnes reference preceding it too. That was something Dre had spent the last DECADE trying to distance himself from and something he is STILL catching some heat for today! He wasn't messing around with that burn! What he basically said with the Dee Barnes reference was: "How you gonna take this kind of advice from someone who (Allegedly) picked some chicken up by her hair and slammed her head against a brick wall repeatedly then kicked the sh*t out of her while she was down IN PUBLIC? And when she was able to escape he followed her and proceeded to keep hitting her! Who tf is THIS guy to tell you to chill in this circumstance? YOU JUST CAUGHT YOUR WIFE CHEATING!" The "Temper, temper" line is downright civil in comparison to just bringing up her name like that tbh. That reference is VERY overlooked since not many people seem to know the story. NOBODY else can throw that kind of heat at their record label executive on a hit single and still have a career. I don't mean this to throw shade at Dre. I'm the biggest fan of his work despite all the accusations made against over the years. There was definitely an assault but the true details will never be known. There's always three sides a story. Theirs, yours and the truth. I'm 100% certain there was an assault, I'm not sure it was as violent as she described it and am 100% certain it wasn't unprovoked. I don't know exactly what happened but it's worth knowing how hard that burn was. This was classic Shady. He wouldn't say this kind of stuff today.
I'm in my 50's and when this came out Eminem was protested and taken to court over the lyrics and separately for the video. Keep up the good work guys 👍
new jeans- god league of legend opening live stage 2023. Stage is epic! Came out few days ago The guy new jeans sang about : "God" is from T1 and God= player name faker won his 4th championship.
What is truly brilliant and often missed is Shady is not only advocating what is wrong or evil, but its not even that moralistic because he is just advocating bad idea , after bad idea, not just doing the wrong thing : but just do this bad idea, you can fix it with this other bad idea, and if that does not work we will fix both with this bad idea.
My ideal collab would be Eminem and Taylor Swift. I think the two of them have similar writing styles in different genres with their storytelling and painting a picture.
This is one of those songs I loved back when I first heard it but now I think EM is a hypocrite for something MGK said at 22 YO about his daughter when 37 YO EM is rapping about this I5 YO and many times over in other songs talked this type of ish.
@@olajaggers EM still wrote the lyrics and also the other -18 girls he talked about were real people The saying it's a fake person is not a valid one because it's the idea of not caring about the age. Also, you need to know I was a EM fan since 99' so I know for a fact EM messed around with young groupies back in those days.
@@tretvfrmdabx2544 I know they will hate it and I didn't even include that when MGK made that statement it was based on a article that said "Look at Eminem's daughter Hailie all grown up" and you had to read to the last paragraph to see where it said her age was 16. Do you think MGK read the whole article and doesn't "all grown up" normally mean an adult?

😂😂😂
This is the best from dre and Eminem awesome as here
The best part of the song is Em dogging Dre like that 😆 🤣.

Uncensored is way crazier, the reason why the media hated Slim back in the day
The edited version doesn’t do the song Justice. The uncensored version was a whole other level of raw
This tune brings back such nostalgia. Eminems early stuff really was on another level, especially at the time it was initially released.
I love watching these old videos. Sometimes I forget what a goofball Em was and this brings me back. Hilarious 😂
My thoughts exactly
I still remember when this video came out, i was like 14 😂. Time really flys by. The late 90s early 2000s were wild 😂
Crazy, right?! Did you ever think you'd be sitting here, watching other people listen to Eminem for the FIRST TIME? I didn't!
@veggiesaremurder Really crazy. Hell no 🤣 i never would of guess this in a thousand years lol
I'm in my 50's and when this came out Eminem was protested and taken to court over the lyrics and separately for the video. Keep up the good work guys 👍
uncensored version always way better. the censored lyrics nowhere near as funny
Agreed. But the video is pretty good and the videos almost always have the censored rewrites.
Busta Rhymes heard this on the tour bus with Wycleff Jean and he smashed his head into the windshield and broke it he got so excited
This song and video is a CLASSIC
LOVE this! And I am an old AF white lady who was blessed to have five sons, all with different tastes in music, so I was exposed to a LOT!!
Wow, this brings me back. Now I feel old. This was awesome thanks.❤🎧
Glad you enjoyed it
Same, man!
Classics never die

One's a real person, One's a fake person. I don't think you can compare those 2 things.
Em fans not going to like this comment!!!💯

@@ICP1SBJ I mean, I guess. 🤷🏻♀️ But isn't that the point of the whole song, good and bad. I mean, murder & robbery are bad as well.
