I cannot tell you how many YEARS I've wasted trying to use the eye dropper wrong 🤦🏻♀️ I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THERE WAS OPTIONS FOR IT!!
Anyway, thank you soo much for this tip!! Loving your channel.
Hahaha, it’s the little things 😁
hahahahah yo sameeeee!!!
That's really handy - I've been wondering for a while now how I get the eyedropper tool just to change the fill/stroke only - you'd think they'd make that either an option on the menu bar at the top or add it to an alt/ctrl key function - like alt + eyedropper = fill only and ctrl + eyedropper = stroke only rather than having to go in those options every time!!
Short, sweet, and very helpful. Thanks.
It would be useful if there were options with key shortcuts. For example if you held alt whilst using it, it only selected the color fill etc
How to change the stroke color by grabbing the another object fill color?
same question
@@angel-qu5qq same question
Why does illustrator make everything complex? Lol I just want to apply a fill color onto a stroke and it shouldnt involve this many steps to do so 😒
i m still wondering how to do that, why the hell they cant have eyedropper like photoshop?
Same. I still can't apply a colour of a fill to a fill of a stroke of another shape
@@christopherwidjaja3147 Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but if you have your stroke(s) selected, hold shift while using the eye dropper on a fill color. Will apply that fill color to your strokes.
have not seen this explained anywhere else. Thanks
welcome! just posting random tidbits I find out
Beautiful simple workflow improvement.
Exactly what I needed! Thank You for this.
супер! как раз то что искал! :) спасибо, дружище! :)
Thank you!
thanks so much!!
thanks a lot bro
Perfect thanks.
Nice
I have a question.... why won’t it sample colors from a placed raster graphic?
I do want to change character paragraph style, but it is picking color also. Is there any way? Pls help
Hello, I've got multiple strokes on a path and I'm trying to use eyedropper to re-apply them to other objects, but it seems to only pick up one. Is there any trick for that? Thanks :)
I'll suggest the Magic Wand Tool, I can be wrong though.
cool
Saved me from my Frustration
Still no solution for picking a color from an image, and apply that as a Stroke color.
Why can't it just work like every other eye dropper, just grab the pixel color, and whatever weird stuff they want to do they just put into a new tool.
Because there’s two colors, the fill and stroke. It does work that way if you have no objects selected, you can pick up whatever color you want
lol less effiency, how can we use fill and stroke faster? without double clicking always
Focal Fill not Local
am i the only one here because of school
