[No 6 star, low rarity squad] doesn't include the support unit. If you're going to pick a support unit, that unit's level is reduced to the maximum level of a operator in your squad, that's why i picked Skadi, you just need any operator at E2 lvl 40 (4/5/6 stars). Remember to use operator with High statistics, with low rarity is very hard and risky to lose. If you have Eyja E2 it will be easier, and for who has Ifrit, just deploy her on Kroos position with S2. If you use 2 single target medics, remember to deploy your best Medic on Jessica's position. Timing is very important here, expecially if you want use Gravel to tank the "Critical Shot" from Faust, but if your Medic-defender has good HP and DEF you don't need to worry about that, Spot is really squishy, tanking 1 "Critical Shot" he only has few HP and if take a hit from those archers, he die. Anyway, if you want, tomorrow i can make a version with my favourite operators (High rarity) to show you how to play with SA+Eyja+Ifrit and better Medics+Defenders ;D

Finally got through this after raising my SilverAsh's S3 to M3, was *super* intense, though. Now if only I could replicate your H5-3 strategy, that's the only stage I still can't manage to beat...

I was thinking to level my Pramanix for S2 but managed to clear it just by delaying SA skill. Interesting, how people need guides to clear such an easy stage in terms of strategy. This stage is literally DPS check. Good job on clearing it without enablers, tho.
Man! It took me some time to master this area. I lucked out and managed to find an E2 Silverash with a Mastery 2 skill 3 on my support as I was slowly training my own Silver Ash, and in addition discovered (thanks to the H5-4 low end guide) that in addition to Faust performing a certain amount of 'regular' shots that he does a 'critical' shot, that Faust will often fire off shots when he reaches certain tiles/positions. And because I used Saria instead of Gummy, it turns out Saria can basically tank Mephisto with the aid of a healer for as long as she needs to, with those two factors in place, it was much less stressfull to follow this guide and finish the area! The only small problem I ran into was Silverash not being able to get his skill off fast enough (due to his skill 3 not being mastery 3) when I deployed him, so I just blocked Faust with Courier and Noir Corne, and from there the battle was easier. Mephisto is quite the cockroach though so it is alot of patient waiting if you do not have many high DPS operators to shred his health as he regens himself. (I'd highly recommend deploying Silverash at point blank range to help destroy Mephisto with his skill 3 if he is the only enemy left on the stage.)
I feel this stage really requires a s3m3 silverash to make it work. The bosses just have too high of a hp to really burst down with normal ops below e2
Instead of doing defender shenanigans, I used Sutur as a support (since I have SA E2 already) and she did enough damage for Faust to die from SA's skill and then I just used Skadi to kill Mephisto :D thanks very much for the guide though!
this went quite differently for me. probably because my silver ash has m3, which threw off my timing. i needed two fast redeployment units to eat the critical hits. a sniper in place of amiya to hit the medic boss all the time. (friend blue poison, because the game doesn't give me dps units) shirayuki instead of kroos to help both tanks. and a duelist guard to beat up faust after he came out of the top middle door. the second deployment of silver ash was in front of where amiya is in the video, and he stayed there until the end. it was very messy, since i ran out of cost points from all the redeployments.
Lol, I finally try this CM after finishing Chapter 6, and using the regular stage strats. I didn't even realize Faust has critical shot and wonder why my defender is having her HP Halved, but my squad is already full E2 at this point in game (Thanks CC) so I finished it on first try.
Well, after many tries i managed to clear this stage without removing cuora from her innitial position. I slapped near E1 Lvl 50 infront and in the middle of SA and Cuora, and i didnt use the second sniper
I Replaced Courier with E2 Lappland, so Faust regeneration got disabled, and with borrowed Exusiai on the bottom position, Silverado Skill 3 Mastery 3 really pay off the investment. Thank you for showing da wae

Can i share another guide here ? In case your support doesn't have Skadi or no SA with M3, you can use : Ch'en with skill 2. Both SA and Ch'en only needs M1 or M2 Start by deploying SA right in front of the DefCrusher below, heads north and all Crushers will be in skill range while also aimed at Faust, active skill whenever available. An ST medic should be in the same lane as him to keep him alive while also cover the middle lane. No need to retreat SA, just keep him there. Ch'en is placed right in front of Mephi (in Courier's place !) and also launch skill any time available. SA skill 3 should be performed exactly 2 times before Faust start walking down. The last phase is when Faust arrives, wait until suitable time to launch SA skill 3 the last time, and everything is done. I can make a recording if you need to
tried with my own silverash at mastery 1 but he has a low chance of killing the caster in the beginning... for some reason his slash doesn't go through the guard for me. i'm testing it with drill plans but it probably has to do with my timing since he has done it once, but i'm working on mastery 2 just in case ;___: thank you for your guides!! i constantly use them to clear stages
5-3, 5-7, 5-10 The Big three stages of challenge mode in chapter 5 I can’t clear 5-3 because the caster operator are just ridiculous op and still looking for a strong enough whale 5-7 I don’t know how to counter the drone without caster or sniper operators 5-10 I have like Schwarz, Eyjafjalla, Silverash, Exusiai and Pramanix and still only got Mephisto to around half of his health bar, I underestimed Mephisto and waited until Mephisto moved then I’d attack what a big mistake.
well i tried with my squad and was impossible, i'll have to lvl up perfumer and lvl up everyone to elite 2, yah 3 or 4 months until i can beat hard mode.
He brought Skadi so that he can borrow that E2 SilverAsh from Support unit. Since the level of the Support unit is the same as the highest level unit in your team, he needed to put Skadi E2 there to borrow an E2 SilverAsh, else that SilverAsh would be E1
you do not need a special operator, you need any 4\5\6 stars operator who has an elite 2 and 40 lvl. You onle need it, to take silverash elite 2 40 lvl

What happened in my version is Red is attacking Mephisto and he heals.... This happens 5 minutes to seven minutes, till Silverash is coming

I don't usually use high star operator. But when I do, I borrow them.
When I got Ifrit from recruitment I immediately levelled her and did this stage, E1 max level and she is already causing mayhem.

I tried beating this without a companion Silverash and needless to say I cleared it 0 out of 20+ times lol.
ok i may or may not have fcked up miserbly, but thankfully hoshiguma can tank those op crits as if they are nothing.
