- This is a vlog of my move into the University of Pennsylvania! Due to Covid-19, freshmen from the Class of 2024 had to wait until spring semester to move-in for the first time. I hope you enjoy my vlog of my move-in. Also watch until the end for a room tour of my dorm!

awe no problem at all!! :) Just a small warning: my room is abnormally large and usually the room would be a double, but because of covid I had it as a single! Hope that helps!

Is this the average dorm for incoming freshman or are there other dorms? Is the bathroom communal & is it all girls floor??
Due to Covid, I was unable to see many other dorm rooms, but I would say that my room is pretty standard for a double in the Quad. I only had my double to myself because I couldn't have a roomate due to covid. Also yes, the bathrooms are communal. And the floors are co-ed! Feel free to ask me more questions :)
Alr. So when I watched this I was shook. I’m black and my parents said I’ll never live in a dorm, but in their home. The UnIversity I’m heading for has dorms id really like to use. Advice to convince?
I love living in dorms! One of the biggest benefits is the opportunity to encounter people from diverse backgrounds (racially, economically, nationally, politically, etc.). That is such a gift and unfortunately, due to how our society is often structured, people rarely have such an opportunity. Living on campus also provides you with a more immersive college experience. You get to study late at libraries, more easily attend events, have late-night academic conversations with friends. With my first year being virtual, I took my classes from home. It was nice having my family with me, but I definitely prefer living on campus!
