I just upgraded to 35x12.5x18 on stock wheels and 2.75" leveling kit on my 2016 Silverado 1500 with Z71 package. Fits perfectly. NO RUBBING at all and no trimming needed at all. Chevy should be selling their trucks off the lot with this size setup they fit that well.

I have the same truck, 19' 2500 L5P Midnight Edition. Installed 305/70r18s (BFGoodrich A/Ts, 34.8" tire) w/stock rims. Love my stock rims by the way. No leveling kit or lift kit. Bumped up my torsion keys 4 to 6 turns, also maintaining 1" of down travel between my upper control arm and my bump stop. Added 0" to 2" Fox 2.0s. Kept a little of the stink bug look, due to wind drag of traveling (pulling the vehicle back), and to tow my MF 2606H tractor with my 5870lb, 25' gooseneck trailer. Leveled out perfectly, with everything loaded. I didnt need to do any trimming to the bumper or wheel well. Only area it rubs is the frame, and then skims the stabilizer bar. Thus, I dont full lock turn everyday, which is the only time it rubs occasionally. Turning on small slopes and going up a sidewalk ramps is when it rubs. Ride quality, decent. Its still a 3/4 ton, so what do you expect, but i love it! 🙏
Lastly, i stayed away from doing a lift kit due to the accident (rollover) i experienced in 2012, with my 83' Silverado K10. I almost hit a cow, went off the road, lost control and rolled twice. My truck had been lifted 4 inches from the previous owner. Losing control in a lifted truck isn't fun, and not easily recoverable like a stock height truck. My apologies for drfiting off subject to explain my refusal of lift kits. Hope this helps, and my best wishes to your current/future rigs. 🙌🙏

You’re using that imperfect driveway as your base point for level? Even concrete a few degrees out of level will make your truck lean, causing the measurements to be off.

Quick question Eddie, I recently installed fox 2.0 smooth body shocks in the front and rear of my truck. Everything was going smoothly until I noticed hitting a couple bumps in the road, it sounded like the rear axle and bed was making clanking and slamming noises on every bump I hit. These shocks are brand new and I'm not sure if one blew out out or not or what else could be wrong. Thanks.

Wait so this truck has a leveling kit installed?
Zero offset is way too low...I think stock rims were in the 40's?
Shoot for rims about half that like 15 to 20. Not as good looking as outward rim depth is lacking but beats all this fiddling.
    Fun stuff!

Sorry but that is not a leveling kit . He tried to do a lift kit with a leveling kit lol. A leveling kit is level the front of the truck with the rear factory height. And I think he installed at least a 2 inch block on the rear and then tried to level the front with the back. And that is not factori height anymore . My truck has the same leveling kit 3 inch on the front . Same upler control arms amd same fox shocks with 33s and my xontrol arms are even close to the bump stop. My truck rides better than factory.
