Thanks, and no I don't sell the files bit there have been some nice ones come across thingiverse lately, just search trx4 on thingiverse and a TON of stuff comes up including tpu foams
@@dslfrk59 the third one is my favorite, it let's the tire conform to the terrain like it should but still has good rigidity for side hilling, of the first two id have to go with the honeycomb style its the best at side hilling and it's more for heavy trail rigs I use them in my defender that is pushing 12 pounds and they hold the rig up nicely, the x design was one of my firsts and it works ok but if the rig is too heavy it seems to clunk around where the x meets if that makes sense, hope this helps you out and if you have any other questions please feel free
@@missourircadventures1730 that's awesome thanks. I understand what you're talking about by "clunking around" I have some 3d foams I bought off ebay. They're great but seem to bounce around when climbing steep stuff and tires are trying to find grip. They're on a lighter low cg trx4 build. I already designed and 3d printed a few parts for that truck and want to experiment with designing tires inserts.
Man I can’t wait get set anti foams like those! But price and all rigs I have,,, either someone need sell some at good price or I am going have get a 3d printer! But yours look awesome ever sell any ide be a buyer if beat 3 bros rc price which shouldn’t be hard at like 65$ set plus shipping ! But great job my man
@MISSOURI RC ADVENTURES are you using fusion 360 to dp your designs
Actually all of my designs I made in tinkercad, the inner design is just infill and I delete the top and bottom layers to expose it
Great video from one printer to another. Are the STL file for sale?

Great video. Thanks for the tip on the infill. I’m looking to do the same thing and try them out on my comp rig.
I'm thinking very seriously about printing my own inserts for my SCX6. A 2.9 wheel, so they're gonna be BIG. Nice tip on the Ninjaflex and infill.
They are very big lol, I printed some a while back, thanks for watching
What infill is first one.
The first two are not infill those ones I actually designed on a cad program and the last one is just gyroid infill
@@missourircadventures1730 how is the 3rd infill design compare with the others. Forward grip and side hill

@@missourircadventures1730 did you use tinkercad to design them
I really like the infill idea!
What filament did you use?
Ninjaflex by ninjatek from Amazon
can you give a little help on how you designed them?
Any cad program just be sure when you slice it in your program to take out the top and bottom layers and use a gyroid Infill
How many grams are they?
I wanted to experiment with these.
But was wondering if it would use up the roll fast
Depending on the infill percentage your looking at around 80 to 100 grams for a 4.75

Shoot me an email, we'll talk
Where do can I get the files? Do they have 2.2 also?
These are my designs and yes I have 2.2's
What printer do you use?
Ender 3 pro
