- This video features a Volkswagen Golf 7 GTI which has been fitted with a TTE535 turbo, aftermarket intercooler, intake and custom exhaust system giving the car 400+HP. This Golf GTI also has an upgraded racingline big brake kit to compensate for the power. We saw the car during 2 events of Pole Ignition. In this video you can see some burnouts, accelerations, launch controls and revs.

I have seen this car today around Breukelen on the A1 (NL). It really is ridiculous loud. In my opinion it is too loud for your precious ears when you are the driver of this car. The suspension looks weird indeed and the looks of this car is not my cup of tea. Seems like the owner is wrecking his car 😳

It's holding up pretty well for how badly he's trying to destroy it lol. Raucous fun, but those burnouts are painful to watch, exhaust needs a better resonator... blats are embarrassing. Will still give it a 4/5 Untappd review.

Imo the GTi is much more fun to drive than the R. The R is a monster off a dig unlike a GTi. It just depends what you like. Drove both and the GTi is so much more of a blast to drive. I didn’t care about the AWD you get because I like roll racing more than drag or dig racing. From rolls the R has more drivetrain loss. Idk those are my reasons why I think a GTi is a better choice for some. This is just my opinion

Second... if you wanna gain grip.. get Michelin PS Cup 2 tires for much better traction! 🔥
third... FWD cars ar physically limited. some people find it more sportive to find traction with the throttle! 🤓
fourth... above 100 km/h FWD with the same amount of power is faster then AWD! take my word for it! 🏁

Not totally true, depends on the tires. I have a TCR with 420WHP on Michelin PS Cup 2 tires and traction in 3th gear is totally fine! 😜
