2 years in niche journey and I’ve tested most ouds that I’ve wanted to test and I’ve trained my nose. Of all oud fragrances I always go back to Frederic Malle “The Moon” , that is my no. 1 oud. 2nd, 3rd and 4th place is a mix between Bortnikoff “Oud Maximus” , “Oud Monarch” and “Oud Loukoum” and 5th place would go to Nishane “Mana” . Honorable mentions would be Histoires de Parfums “Fidelis” and Mancera “Aoud Exclusiff” . Those two would be my dumb reach, easy going ouds.
Wow, absolutely amazing picks! Frederic Malle and Nishane are two houses that I am still discovering. Also, you seem like someone who really appreciates the rose-oud combo, looking forward to exploring these perfumes! 😇
My favorite oud right now is ombre nomad by LV. My second favorite is oud by aaron terrence hughes. In third place id have to put purple oud by dior. I have plans on buying one of the MFK ouds. I want to sample all 6 but rn im leaning towards oud satin mood.
Ombre nomade - current stunner! Absolutely amazing picks and yes if you love your sweet candied rose-oud scents, you will love MFK’s oud satin mood, great investment. It will last you a very long time - you won’t use up much juice as it’s super potent and only a few sprays would get the job done!
Good recommendation :) If you're in Dubai you can checkout the Boruzz collection under Rassasi for Arabian style oud fragrances. I felt the ingredients, presentation and unboxing felt more premium when compared to Tomford Oud Wood. I recently bought the Rasasi Boruzz Indonesian Oud at Jumeirah Rassasi store in Dubai. The opening of Rassasi Boruzz Indonesian Oud is fresh citrusy and then transitions to oud with amazing dry down. Usually the oud fragrances I have tried before are potent and dark but this felt like an office space friendly one.
Thank you! 😇 Oh wow, that’s interesting. I will definitely check out these perfume if/when I visit Dubai. I wonder if they available anywhere else! Fresh oud perfumes as well are so unique in character, I really like that type of a DNA
@@nupurdhatrak you can also find on UA-cam how they might be one of the few brands agricolture to consumer, since they own and work with Assam Agarwood plantations and do a bunch of charity, I think 10% of their annual net profit
Nefs is the best of these in my opinion! Great video!
Thank you! And agreed, love Nefs ☺️

I still need to get my nose on the moon. I sampled the new FM oud but it was too animalistic for me.
