I see your point dude, i try to explain to people but none seems to realize the abusive nature of lexana as a relationship. Its fully built with lies, manipulations and machinations. Lex completely brainwashed lana. People are either blind or have blinders. Mostly because people are shallow and just look at the appearance. I honestly hate lexana shippers, they are so full of themselfes. Some of them even claim KK and MR shared the best chemistry, failing to realize what they had is intimacy(how the relationship is written, nothing to do with the actors themself). What i hate the most are the ones that claim lana is lex's other half/equal. I dont understand how people can describe lana like this female-lex, and perhaps ship her with this monster. She was sweet and innocent, she became more bitter after the break up with clark, but she always was good. Lex always was bad. They literally have nothing to do with each other. Saying they are a lot alike is either hatred towards lana or misconstruction of the show. The writers regretted lexana so soon that its a record. The fake baby plot to make lana discovery lex's true nature was intended like that from the beginning, since the first moment the pregnancy was introduced. Wheter there was or not a 7 season lexana would have ended like it did. People who think they retconned it and that the writers "messed up" are literally delusional. They never stood a chance. The only mess up was pairing this 2 in the first place. This is not just my opinion, the writers themselfes and a lot of people thinks it like this. Lexana is the one completely WRONG thing they made in smallville. You have no idea how many fans quitted at the time, cause most of SV general fans loved lana and seeing her with lex is well, disgusting and depraved. It ruined lana's image forever. Lex appeared to be more pathetic loser than usual. While clark appeared more passive and dumb than usual. In season 5/6, they made me hate the 3 lead characters. The only people who liked it are either blind lex fangirls or blind lana haters. Either way none of them have a clear view of the show. Whoever did have a clear view, hated lexana and know it wasnt going to last. But then again, people with a clear view are the one who watched smallvile with no kind of mental restriction, most of them falling in love with the real love story of the show, clark and lana's.

I'm not looking to argue in the UA-cam comment section lol 😁 However, I don't think it's such a travesty towards the show as you believe it is. I understand that the majority of people really disliked this pairing and everything it exemplified but I feel there is still a handful of people who truly took pleasure in it, and not at all for the reasons that you presented. I loved Lana with Clark (they were def the more ideal match) but I also loved Lex and Lana together as well.
