The frame has details that mean it is an International - it has the welded up rear subframe, and the long rear mudguard loop. When the twins got the welded rear subframe in late 1954, the mudguard loop was dropped. The twins got a longer, wider rear mudguard with a hinged or removable piece at the back. Also, the front engine plate bolts are higher on an Inter frame for crankcase clearance. The right top frame rail is flattened for cam-box clearance

Engine number dates this bike as late 1956 and the frame is a high strength Renolds steel tube especially used for these bikes.
