    That's why my only advice to anyone and everyone is to watch and learn as much videos by SWI as you can. My wife and I are in our mid 60's and we put a 150ft length of fence with a gate on our front yard and we did our homework with SWI. Mind you it took us a whole week to get it done and the city inspector said it was the best he's seen in years. We dug nine fence post holes with a post hole digger. We done this due to all the tutorials from SWI. Mahalos guys from Kansas.

    I keep seeing all these videos and they are always on lovely flat/level properties. Some hardship fencing here on the west coast of British Columbia . Love your channels and content 👍

      Wow that's almost creepy. The UA-cam algorithm knows all...

    Hey guys, I like your videos, great job!
    How about using instead of concrete just big edgy gravel in a PVC Pipe, threw the sharp edges they got poured into, and lock in place and lock the post. That’s kind of how we do it sometimes here in Austria with electric poles.

    You guys forgot to comment on the rotation of the Earth and how it affects fencing.

    Use .150 here from the custom supplier. In north Texas get some high winds here too.

    Fill the holes with pea gravel, pack it down every foot with a hammer and 2x4", and you're good to go.

    Is there ever a concern (when using stab method) in vinyl that water will get into the post, then over winter the water will freeze and bust the post?

    • @SWiFence
      @SWiFence  11 місяців тому

      No. If you did manage to get water in there it would just expand upward into the cavity when freezing.

    What’s the stab method?

    • @NoahDevine91
      @NoahDevine91 11 місяців тому +2

      Filling your hole first with cement and then stabbing your post into the cement after.

    I think she says it took her a week to dig and set the post holes? Not very efficient

      Well, it is a homeowner DIY job. I'm sure they're fitting it around everything else they have going on in life.
