We want more doggo time Lmaoo. This is interesting cause I’ve been trying to do a head up cue for deadlift and it just wouldn’t work so I’m gonna try neutral before down. Thank you Dave!
Great video as always, I thought I was making a mistake because my head wasn't up when doing deadlifts, but I just couldn't pull with my head looking up. More doggo in future videos pls
Great video thanks. Gives me more confidence in my form. I had a trainer tell me I should look up and it just felt so uncomfortable. Looking down has always felt so much better for me
My upper back is rounded naturally and I feel weak in that part, so when approaching max weight in deadlift it’s hard to avoid the hips to raise before my back raises... It doesn’t seem to make a difference where the head is. It seems to be the strongest for me to set up from top to down looking up and pull.
Quick question: in terms of bracing and neck position, if I’m feeling a lot of pressure in my head when “bracing” would that be a sign of not bracing effectively into my abdomen?
I agree with your comments but instead of thinking of my head position, I try to think as tight upper back position and then do thoracic extension. More explanation here ua-cam.com/video/Xe4FDM5-69s/v-deo.html

The look of the dog at the end was priceless. When he demonstrated how not to arch your back while squatting!

I think the starting position with such big weights is different with a deadlift bar we can clearly see it when Yuri was in ipf
This vid got me subscribed. Great vid bro 🤜🏼🤛🏼

Brilliant advice my man keep up the great work
Great info, but sorry to say that 7:38 stole the show
Keeping spine neutral has changed lower back pain as my back during squats would often make a ) type shape lol! Great video!

yuh
Does using a stiff bar tend to have people use less upper back round on deadlifts?
