I would love for him to interview Becky Herbst. I want to know how she was able to navigate being a working mother, to almost losing her job at GH. I understand that her husband pretty much was Mr. Mom so it would be great to learn both their POVs.

This is why talking about all of this is so vital. Can you imagine how different things would have been 20 years ago had you felt safe enough to bring it all into the open against all the naysayers? We can never go back. But we CAN move forward and do things very differently. This is part of what I learned through therapy. It's actually an exciting time right now. Because things are changing. People are breaking the 4th wall (so to speak) by crushing all the stigmas surrounding all mental health issues. I am so passionate about advocating for mental health. I share my own story to hopefully help other people so they don't feel alone. I always look forward to your podcast Maurice because this work is real life. Acting is reel life through a canon. Huge differences but you are a great example of how they can intersect and can be used to teach. Alicia was delightful and it was great to hear about her journey. ✨💞

This is good. I love how real this was between the two of you about a tough time. It's good when you can talk about things in the past to understand them and see how you have come out the other side. So impactful. It helps people see that there is often things going on with people we know nothing about. It's so great how you two have taken the steps and are in a better place.
Yes ! I have had anxiety panic attacks for 35 years then my daughter passed 5 months ago I went DARK doing my best now 1 day at a time..love ya Maurice thanks for being here ! You are amazing 🥰

Wow, as a single mother (since my child was 5 months) I’m so grateful for this episode. I laughed, cried, felt relieved, etc. I hope there are other episodes about this. The anxiety, hopelessness, frustration and fear of raising a child solely on your own is very real. Very very real. Going from being financially stable and content, to abrupt homelessness, and now struggling to maintain a stable, happy single-parent home…. Thank you for these very helpful mental health shows, Maurice (PS - I still have pic I took with you from 2006 GHFCW)!

Somehow I knew that was going on with you two Steve and Tamara. Some rumors but it came across on screen. So it’s nice to see ALW on this show and Steve’s. Thanks to both of you for being honest about mental health struggles. It happens in every profession so this helps to remove the stigma. ALW hasn’t aged at all and has the best smile.
Thar was fun. Alicia is great and I wish her all the happiness in the world! I never stopped smiling through this whole conversation.

I'm catching up with GH shows that I missed from 15 yrs ago when I wasn't watching I'm starting with some of the shows from about 20 yrs when Alicia was on there and working up to the yrs I missed. Watching some of the shows on the ABC app from 2019. I'm finding out I don't have the patience to watch all the shows so I watch the condensed versions on UA-cam. I miss Alicia playing your sister, Rick Hearst playing your brother, and Ron Hale playing your dad.
She's gorgeous, but she also comes across very likeable and relatable as well, so not surprised she has worked nonstop.

I struggle with anxiety and panic attacks and everyone I talk to about it say oh just stop or stop thinking negative. It’s hard😢
Absolutely. If it was that easy, I'd do it. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. If I could snap my fingers and not have anxiety and panic attacks, I would.
Your absolutely right. It’s so easy to tell someone to snap out of it or to be positive and get over it; when they themselves aren’t the one living with it; just trying to keep your head above water everyday. It’s so hard when you’re in the midst of it and you feel like you’ll never stop treading water. It’s exhausting and I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy either.

Loved seeing Alicia again! I've often wondered what she's been up to. I'm sorry that she had to go through divorce but I've been there and I know what it is like to be in a bad marriage. I left my husband and 86 and we didn't divorce until 98. This episode actually made me cry because my Tunnel right now is very very long and I'm very very tired. I don't think my light is ever going to come but because I'm a survivor, I just keep going day-to-day! Thank you both for a great show!💜🙏💜🙏💜

And An Instant Recap Courtney Was Married To Aj First Then Jason But The First Wedding Was Postponed Because Ric Abducted Carly Then The Second Wedding Was In France And That Time It Was A Success But Sadly They Got Divorced Then She Married Jax Then After They Divorced She Was Engaged To Nikolas Right Before She Died And Of Course She’s Spencer’s Mother:-)

Well, you have to realize they have so many scripts to remember and scenes to film. They tape and move on. I can’t remember all of the things I did 20 years ago either. 😂

I remember when you first spoke about your bipolar years ago. I have just started to watch your videos and find them interesting. My family knows I suffer from depression and anxiety but I have a hard time when they ask me why. I wish I knew why. I have been on meds for 20 years and it's frustrating when the dr says do you need your happy pills. My emotions are flat....Anyhow thank you for being out there and talking about mental health.

It's trippy hearing Alicia talk about her exit from GH. That's when i started watching the show. I can't believe it's been almost 20 years. Didn't Courtney make Jax promise to hide the fact that Nic was Spencer's father and say that Jax was instead?
