Baking soda + warm water did wonders for me, left it for a minute then scrubbed with the hard side of a sponge. Repeated the process and it got perfectly clean. No scratches. Thank you!
The key is to turn off burner ASAP to cool down the glass, clean up sugar ASAP, then use Cerama Bright Complete Cleaning kit. This is suggested by most major brands and can be purchased on Amazon or GE's web site. I spread a quarter size of the cleaner and scrape the glass with the cleaner on the top. It glides over the glass while cleaning off burnt on food. Never cook on the burner without cleaning first or it will continue to cook the spilled sugar into the glass. NOTE: Sugar can pit glass cooktops
La verdad funciona mejor aplicando solo vinagre blanco y luego frotar con el brillo de alambre suave, no es necesario el uso de la espátula. Lo hice y funciona perfecto.
You should NEVER use a metal scraper on a glass top stove. If you’re worried about the look of burned sugar you’re really not going to like permanent scratches you can’t ever remove.
My appliance store, been in business almost 100 years, sells the scrapers just for that purpose. I think the key is holding the scraper at about a 30' to 45' angle. Worked fine for me.

I had no luck it was actually imbedded in the glass
Boil over of sugar, with stove hot, waited for it to cool and your method worked, thankyou
I tried vinegar and baking soda on a dried hard burnt sugar on my stove top with a scrub and came off right away. Way faster than scraping it.

Turn the burner in high and just burn it off. Takes about 20 mins but works like a charm. 👍👍
i feel like you’re lying
Sugar on high?
1200 sand paper
And a grinder?
