@@DavidSpiewak I'm just wondering if there is currently any construction going on at what they used to call Seaport Village? Did they break ground yet at City Hall?
@@Mr.Howell78k nothing yet. They have temporarily been filling in Seaport Village with amazing San Diego local eats until a final project is approved (again, not sure why sooooo loooong).
@@DavidSpiewak As I shared before, I've been gone 15 yrs and I wonder what things are STILL the same since I first arrived in '93? ❓ Example: The lot on Kettner across from Amtrak and next to the art museum, behind the plywood wall❓ Has the C Street Inn been knocked down yet 🤔🤔🤔🤔❓or maybe it's still Roach Central🤔☹️🚫❓
@@Mr.Howell78k that whole area around Amtrak had been developed. One empty lot that Bosa owns will be developed down the road. I believe C Street Inn was recently closed down because they let it get real real bad and renters complained. City came in and shit her down!
@@DavidSpiewak Speaking of tacos, I wonder if Del Taco near City College is still there? Do the students have any off campus food choices? In Berkeley the students have options, but SD doesn't seem to care even a little. *(of course the student population size is different, but SD could make an effort.)
@@DavidSpiewak thanks for letting me know. besides those restaurants downtown SD needs a Santana's and also an El Pollo Loco which was one of my favorites and Wienerschnitzel.
@@DavidSpiewak Wow, I'm NOT going to recognize SD wen I return! Have you been to TRUST at 3752 Park Blvd.? That's just one example of major changes in SD. It looks great! In one year you never have to repeat a restaurant, even if you go out every night 🥰🍼📬
Hey, did I miss a video about the Coasterra, the fancy $15M restaurant that replaced the sunken Reuben E. Lee? on Harbor Island... Hey they are open until 9 p.m.,... I'll have to ask Mom if I can stay up that late.
@@DavidSpiewak Yes, great views and a great place for walking or running, but why no food vendors? I guess they are unwanted. I bet Santa Cruz could teach SD a few lessons. It seems like SD is trying to keep the waterfront super mellow.

Oh benches! Great! **I hope we can buy a Fish Taco at this park. 🐢 I'm a little confused why it takes another 4 🐌long years to complete a park...🤔🤨🧐
That would awesome if they sold fish tacos there. And i feel you, always curious how parks take so long to develop…
