- Sixth mission. I guess this is a nice mission where we see Xenia 2.0 getting what she deserves.
Objectives:
Use Q-Claw to enter R's safehouse
Infiltrate embassy
Rescue 5 civilian hostages
Find secret passage & rescue Damescu
Destroy gunship
This is being played on Dolphin emulator 5.0 with the original controller.

When videogames were fun ugh! I miss the good parts of the early 2000s
This mission was the darkest for me. The full blown assault at the beginning, the crying civilians... sheesh
Not to mention how James kills the Jackal (if you choose to though)
As a kid, my older sister used to tell me the the embassy's kitchen freezers was full of chopped human bits because the terrorists were cannibals. I was pretty gullible back then.
I have fond memories of this game, it gets me back to my childhood.
I like how the SSR 4000 in The World is Not Enough is the quietest gun in the game but here it’s loud as shit lol

When I was little I used to think the Jackal WAS Xenia, returned from the dead.

One thing I always enjoyed about the James Bond games is that they always had a callback mission. From Bad Diplomacy to Night of the Jackal in this game to Night Shift and Phoenix Fire in 007 Nightfire. Pretty cool way to reuse assets while still being very fresh to be honest.
Great comment @diegoluna7264, you mean like stealth, from Bad Diplomacy to Night of the Jackal to assault from Night Shift to Phoenix Fire, both of them are returning parts that reuses map asset scenarios for the 007 gaming franchises.
Carla's death looks so compared to Dario's death from Licence To Kill. 👍

Ask a kid the most annoying part of this level when I played was not being able to pick up the guns in the fenced area. Also I couldn’t see Zoe very well with the sniper rifle either.

Anyone else play this level in stores at the GCN demo stations? Considering the...um...shower scene...Im surprised they chose this mission for the demo. Regardless, love this game and console to this day!
This level often made me think of the movie Patriot Games, especially with the assault on the embassy, villains in ski masks and lurking in the dark hallways during the attack.
I remember my friend telling me he’d get the sniper before getting to the shower scene then opening the door and using the scope to get off lol

they recyclyed two tracks from the ps1 TWINE game into Agent Under Fire originally the latter game was to be a PS2 port of The World Is Not Enough but it was retooled into Agent
Huh, I don’t ever think I would have called Carla the Jackal, Xenia. Xenia had a lot more character. But yeah, Fem Fatale for sure(or however you spell that).

Thanks! I didn't go for the shotgun as I didn't lose any health so getting the armor next to it is not necessary, I also don't use the shotgun on this level usually.

I always thought the Jackal used the grenade launcher from multiplayer mode and though she would drop it if I killed her at the exact right moment. I eventually realised it was just the underbarrel grenade launcher on the assault rifle instead

I found a glitch in this level years ago, if you throw your grenade (golden grenade) to the front of the bus BEFORE the terrorist on the balcony blows up the bus, he will instead shoot rockets at you endlessly on sight

@@JamesMcilroy-uu9lj when the mission starts , I let the bus crash the gate. If you have golden grenade, throw it to the front of the bus and it triggers the animation of the bus being exploded. That was supposed to be for the terrorist on the balcony to blow it up from his rocket. Instead , he will shoot rockets at you if he sees you. You could try shooting him but he doesn’t die 😂

This isn't a game like Counter-Strike where a reload can kill you, they're fast and you know where enemies are. There's little to no reason to not reload.
