007: Agent Under Fire GCN - Bad Diplomacy - 00 Agent

- Fourth mission. I loved doing this stealth mission back then, specially the laser parts or kitchen. It's really easy and shouldn't be any issue to complete.
Objectives:
- Infiltrate private quarters on top floor
- Gain access to secure room
- Use passcode generator on Griffin's computer
- Escape embassy
This is being played on Dolphin emulator 5.0 with the original controller.

Those guards in the opening scene have some awful peripheral vision.
I came here because I had a dream where I was inside a burning Walmart and heard a very distinctive British man call out “sound the alarm” and I couldn’t remember where It came from but now I remember!!!!!

Every old game, the characters sound like their walking in high heels
I used to try to mimic the sounds of video game walking when I was a kid and I legit had to walk on the tips of my toes to make the sound properly, ever since then I automatically assume everyone is tip toeing in those old games
Mission used to terrify me as a kid , got so scared when sneaking around in the dark
You can say what you want, but this game was ahead of its time.
I also remember that you could open a secret door behind the English Flag, next to the guards.
Only on night of the jackal, but yeah you can!
Nightfire is better :)

This is one of my favorite missions the atmosphere is amazing.

Also Game, after any slightly exciting action: BA-DA-DA-DAAAAA, BA-DA-DAAAAAAAAAAAAA
you would think the guards could hear a fricking desert eagle going off. Also, spot on gameplay! You zipped right through this level!
I suppose the guards shouting out "sound the alarm!" doesn't alert any of the other security team members nearby? Also quite fortunate there are some spare darts lying around for Bond to use...

I always liked the little techno-style music when you open a panel to cut it with the laser.
the music on the elevator is a track used from the PS1 version of "The World Is Not Enough."
Not only is this level the easiest but in my opinion the funniest when it comes to the security guards. I remember playing this level one time as a kid while eating Dairy Queen

I like how much there is of you going back and visiting the same places in this game yet seeing different sides of the location. The second mission is the chase in downtown hong kong, but then the next mission, you're in a car going through hong kong trying to find a briefcase. In this mission, you're in the embassy trying to sneak through it. In the 6th mission, you go through it and you enter through a different route and see a lot of the same things, but stuff you didn't get to see the first time you were there. In mission 5, you are in malprave's office, but then when you get to mission 12, you go back to her office again that time knowing she housed dangerous missiles there.
I like and hated this mission but it was oddly fun! Great job Btw 👍

This was pretty much a favorite level of mine, I mean pretty much all the Romania levels are a favorite of mine.
What I liked most about this level is that nobody dies.
Oh yeah like the guards didn’t just see you just repelling down.
But at least they never saw you coming
I was always good at this game, but sometimes Fire And Water can be a little challenging.
I didn't know that you can disable the laser security. Something is wrong in this level, the real griffin is dead and malprave is there. Sounds like Malprave killed him.

I low-key used to have jump scares when the loud enemy dialogue comes in. 🤣

The guards here are lot smarter than the ones in Nightfire, they go for the alarm immediately instead of staring at you for five seconds.
I used to just jump over the lasers lol
By far the easiest level of the whole game.
Its the only level its possible to get a perfect score on. 300,000 is the best you can do.
And the hardest for me was probably Hidden Depths due to the required target shots when in the lava room.

I feel like this Mission was too easy. I would have liked the tranquilizers to work like the ones in MGS: when the enemy sees you it takes longer to put them to sleep, but if you do it with them unaware; it will insta down them with a head shot. Otherwise great and funny af mission. Especially when you harass the gaurds by missing on purpose so they start looking around fast af.🤣🤣

I could never figure out those secret rooms that disabled the lasers in this level. Probably because I forgot to use my specs when I played this game. I mean, I was only a kid.
