something to note about sonic down throw: sonic's quills aren't your standard quills, these quills have no problem cutting through metal

One move that you forgot to put on this list is Donkey Kong's fully charged neutral special. It is a gigantic punch that is so strong it literally knocked the moon out of orbit in Donkey Kong Country Returns.

Corrin's f smash definitely deserves to be on here. First you get cut up by a chainsaw, then stabbed through the heart by dragon-spear-hand-thing. It's basically the worst possible combination of multihit cutting moves like the LInks and stab moves like byleth.

I agree but Ridley’s skewer deserves it more, this giant dragon abomination loads up and launches his spear tail right through you and then he pulls it out of you. That pull out makes it look more brutal.

Kind of was expecting king dedede's charged down b to be on here. I mean it's a rocket propelled hammer that king dedede can't even control because of how much power the rocket and the swing has combined. Watching someone get hit by that would be like watching someone get hit by a truck going at full speed.
That would be more mental and emotional pain than physical pain
For Corrin I'd actually go for the neutral special. A paralyzing projectile that holds you in place as his hand becomes a ginormous mouth ready to chomp you sounds like nightmare fuel

Thomp too. That's the added spikes, sure it's a small one, but those spikes landing on your head and with the gravity coming down on you. Mario has some balls to go against those.

Kirby's swallow is by far the best (depending on what else is in him) because his stomach is a universe, very spacious. DDD and Yoshi have pretty normal stomachs so you might suffocate after too long or get squeezed to death, but DDD is bigger so you'll have more room in him than you would in Yoshi. Yoshi poops you out as an egg immediately after swallowing you so you wouldn't even be able to attack him from the inside to make him spit you out like you could with the other 2
First of all, I love the detail of Red Sun playing throughout the video, second, I think Wii Fit Trainer’s neutral B should have made the list because you get a piece of the sun thrown directly at you

I absolutely agree, but Ridley’s skewer absolutely would be one of the most painful moves ever. I mean, you’re being impaled through the chest with a tail like the Xenomorph Queen from Aliens!
Only my opinion but I think the two flame breaths should be higher up concidering that being burnt alive is one of the most painful things you can experience, charizard (but more so) and bowser are fucking terryfing and the worst part is you could survive the move. Think about the agony of the burns on your entire body. Yeesh.
And don’t even get me started on Ridley’s take… it’s not the same sure but… it’s literally called PLASMA breath.
It isn't a top ten, it's just a list of moves that'd suck to get hit by in no particular order.
@2fast 4u that is one of the main reasons I think Joker eigaon should be here. Unlike the flame breaths it does burn your nerves, so you will continually feel the curse causing your body to decay.
I always imagined Ness' baseball bat to be really painful, especially at the tip. If you were to get hit in the head by a fully charged Ness tipper bat in real life, you would definitely get both a black eye and a concussion.

I respect this list but I’d mention Sephiroth’s Giga Flare looks like something I wouldn’t want to get hit by or his side B. I don’t know how much it hurts but a potential of 6 purple fireballs of death looming in circle would give me a heart attack before I could feel death’s icy grip.

Also, Steve's Aerial Down smash is noteworthy because he jumps 20 ft in the air, stands on an anvil, and crushes you with it. His down special is also literally blowing you up with tnt.
What bout Ridley's Down Special?
The dude just straight up stabs you with his long tail. As judging from the fact that it does like 50 damage, it's gotta hurt.
And that tail has a barb on it too. Its bad enough getting stabbed but Ridley is also pulling out the barbed tail, that in real life would likely pull out more skin and organs than most of the swords in the game would do.

@13igojimenez7 One is continuous stabbing and slashing, another is a bow that instantly disintegrates you if you're unlucky enough to be hit by it, one is a giant edgy furry ramming you, and the last is getting sealed away to God knows where. Everyone else? Painful. Link's? Not painful.
Like Ridley's Down B. You get impaled and die.
Just imagine Ganon's side B in the air : An almost 300 pounds man (mostly muscles and ignoring the wait of his armor) chokeslaming you head first into the ground and making sure to hold your face so you can't breath through the whole process. It's even worse if it's a ganonside because the height would be way greater, but for gameplay purposes you just both die.
I'm surprised none of snakes moves got on here, cuz his f-smash is literally a rocket launcher right on your body. He also can throw a literal grenade at you. Also Joker gun would probably hurt a lot too, especially if he does the version in the air shooting down at you.
Not to forget he attaches a literal C4 on YOU. Like, this is an absolutely point blank explosion.
I mean, he did specify that the moves that are the worst to be hit by are the ones that leave you in pain. Snake's C4 and rocket launcher would just vaporize you instantly, but you would feel every moment of Charizard burning you alive.
@@loadingname4947 u can survive the c4 explosion if it's on the ground. like, won't kill, won't vaporise, but still hurts. not to mention, a grenade primarily uses shrapnel to inflict damage, making it possible to survive and be in a lot of pain.

@@StealthKey no i did, and considering that it works in smash, it means that the other fighters perceive that joker does have a real gun. the gun only works if the enemy thinks it's real, and since joker's gun works, it means the other people think it's real, so it works. Which means it might as well be a real gun.
The most painful HAS to be Ridley, you can see that even your CHARACTER is in IMMENSE pain

And the anvil was made with 8 blocks of iron , each block weights over perhaps a ton .
There’s also his side-b where he just charges at you in a minecart which weigh well over 2000 pounds.
I did the math. The average weight of an iron ingot is 875 kilos. Considering the 9 ingots needed to make the blocks, multiplied by three, and then adding the 4 other ingots used, I'd say it weighs about... 73.304 tons. So yeah, you're fucked if you get crushed by it

Also, considering on moving stages, Ridley’s speed relative to the stage is similar. Meaning that he can grind you against the asphalt at the speed of a futuristic racing hovercraft.
I think Jr's Dash attack is way more painful. Imagine someone sawing your guts - It's 90% fatal if not taken care of, but so painful it was used as a torture method that lowers your pride before your death

Ridley’s down-b should be on the list. Imagine a 4 meter tall dragon impaling you with it’s tail with a barb and pulling your organs out. You won’t die instantly and die a slow and painful death as you watch blood coming out of your stomach.
If this was a normal dragon it would take a while, but Ridley happens to be one of the most powerful gaming villians so you will actually die instantly
I know final smashes don't count but, Ness/Lucas PK Starstorm must be terrifying. That thing could literally cause a mass extinction.
Captain Falcon is another scary one : Just imagine an F-Zero vehicle flying at their actual speed with pheonix wings coming straight for your face while you're on the tracks. And that's if it's only Captain falcon, if there's other contestents you're in for a wolrd of pain.
Just a softer version of Sephiroth's final smash (when it has the damage effect obviously).
I'm supprised you didn't mention Ganondorf's side B. A gigantic guy charges you, picks you up by the throat, with a purple flaming fist, sits there and just chokes you, then makes an explosion right in your fucking face. OUCH!

Just that sounds and effects on Mr. Game & Watch’s 9 hammer tells me it would be equal to getting hit by a truck five million times forwards and backwards until you’re as flat as G&W himself and you don’t have any blood.

10:24 sonic’s spin dash can tear though metal, like paper, so getting down throwen is goodbye to your stomach, intestines, lower lug, and rib cage
Now to be fair, The final sacrifice of Captain Falcon in the anime does have him give the bonus of punching black shadow into that giant reactor that was already exploding. That dark reactor that he was going to use to wipe out the universe.

imagine rob's down tilt. i know rob's been listed here like 4 times already but hear me out. rob literally thrusts his fists at your shins. not only is he a robot with a lot of strength, but he's fast in spamming it too. after experiencing down tilt spamming, say goodbye to your walking ability lmfao. your shins have become discolored and your ankles sprained beyond repair.
As much as I disagree with a lot of these rankings, I would be interested in the top 50 best attacks to be hit from. I’d guess it would be filled with useless or instant death attacks.

I'm surprised Ganondorf side b wasn't on here. He's an extremely tall man (7'7) who can choke you by your neck and pick you up in a matter of seconds no matter your weight. Considering just being choked is horrible, being choked by Ganondorf is way worse. I don't even know how strong Ganondorf actually is but I know he's not a weakling. Then he uses dark magic to add onto the pain of the choke. You probably not gonna be able to breathe for a good 5 minutes.
Him doing it in the air is even worse. He chokes you, brings you up a bit and forces you down to the ground adding his dark magic on impact. Like you can be all the way in heaven and he'll bring you down to hell without letting go. That's some DBZ shit right there.

Let's add onto that his weight. This hunk of a man weighs around 291 ponds (132kg) of pure gains. Add to that the weight of his armor, wich is apparently heavy enough to slow him down to his current speed. Now you've got yourself a dark magic wielding body builder in a steel coffin that serves as his armor chokeslaming you head first into the ground while his weird purple magic does god knows what to your body. Pretty bad right ? Now imagine a ganonside from the top of Plateau Tower. In the game you just both die and respawn, in reality, you travel all the way down that thing, get obliterated once you hit the ground, and if you're unlucky enough to survive, well congrats, you now have three guardians to keep you company and traumatise you with their OST.
Pac Man's melon, Mr. Game and Watch's Judge (9), and Steve's Anvil should be on this list. A huge watermelon, a super powerful hammer, and an ANVIL. Need I say more?

Ridley Skewer.
Kinda surprised that Pyra's down throw wasn't mentioned as she applies all her strength to impale you with her sword (and it's not a small sword) after throwing you to the ground.
Remember Pyra's Side B is literally TELEKINESIS with her sword. Also the sword has literal FIRE in it.

Consider this: Bowser's fsmash. A giant monster thing just puts all his energy and launches himself against your head, drop kicking your cranium with his scale-filled and claw-bearing legs. A nice way of breaking your insides without touching your insides.
Bowser survived a supernova so I would trust that I would die instantly

Honestly I thought ridley's down special would be on the list because Ridley's down special is basically a 200mph spear right through your body and it's even more painful when he gets The Sweet Spot.
Ridley side b should have been further up on the list, that seems absolutely painful. especially if you use it on the captain falcon stage where the stage goes above the track, and Ridley can just slide you on the ground for as long as he wants.

The bowser jr up b is to wacky. You get hit by a bomb and go flying up only to get demolished with a hammer, all part of one move
Honorable mention goes to Wario's waft. Imagine getting hit by a fart with the power of a nuke and enough force to push you away. Not only will you be throwing up for a while but your nose will be burning inside and out with the stench of gas, and on top of that no matter how many showers you take you won't be able to go out in public without smelling bad for a long time. Suprised his chomp made the list and not waft.
I think Bowser Jr's dash attack would be horrible. Saw blade repeatedly slashing you in the stomach or maybe even head would be excruciatingly painful.

Ridley’s Skewer has to be worse than Bowser Jr’s Down throw because he literally impales you through the chest and it is emphasized dramatically with the blue screen and the massive damage output. This move actually would kill someone instantly.

-Bowser Down Throw: A giant turtle with metal wrist bands, claws and a literal spiky shell trustfalls on you, and if that's not enough this is Bowser we're talking about, the same one who survived a LITERAL Supernova (but if we assume that's not a real feat due to Rosalina influence), this is still a giant turtle strong enough to punch a full sized castle in HIS BASED FORM (or at least move it) on your spine. And you complain about having back pains after soccer.
Pac-Man Key: Honorable mention being the Bell, but considering it's the size of a leg, I'm debating whether or not it would kill you instantly. But Pac Man throws the Key at the speed of a gunshot, that will 100 percent put you in the hospital if your eye doesn't get plucked out.
Mario Forward Aeriel: Remember when I said Bowser canonically survived a supernova? Well this guy beats that Koopa so effortlessly. So imagine him bringing his full force to smack the freak outta you with his arm, again if Supernova level doesn't count, he's still strong enough to destroy bricks effortlessly, soooooo HAPPY CONCUSSION!!!!!!!

I feel like Little Mac's K.O punch should've made the list, this thing has the power to launch anyone to the stratosphere around 20%. You cannot block it, you cannot counter it. Canonically this punch can knock out characters like Mr Sandman who can demolish brick buildings with his bare fists, and Donkey Kong; who's punched the moon out of orbit!

I know Nicks things is pretending Mega Man doesn’t exist, but some of his moves would be pretty brutal. I mean, a saw blade being sent through your stomach? Or worse, an adhesive bomb which forces you to accept your demise or save yourself but kill someone else

I agree with Sonic's Down Throw, but I think Sonic's Down B could've mad it as well. Simply because he drags you along with him spinning.
Not to mention Byleth Aymr (Down-B), you get that same axe from his/her down air, but now it's slamming it and you into the ground.
Did you seriously not put Ridley's down b on this list? He literally stabs you in the chest with his barb and you instantly take 60% for it as you slowly fall to the ground in agony. Instant #1 most painful move.
You'd probably die on the spot considering Ridley's cannon size and the fact that he was inspired by xenomorphs who have a 100% kill rate with that spitroast of a tail.
Personally I think Bowser's up air would be pretty painful. Imagine somehow getting launched into the air, and then Bowser just uses his sharp horns to freaking gore you. And if it hits your stomach, that horn slice with probably disembowel you.
Shulk down throw would also be awful to get hit by, he holds you down, and impales you straight through the spine, and for his up throw, he tossed you into the air and impales you through the chest.
Ridley forward air, is basically a long tail with a spiked tail stabbing you violently multiple times.
Piranha Plants forward smash is basically his whole head covered in spikes slamming into your body.
Piranha Plant's down air is basically him holding you down and violently mauling you.
Bowser Jr. side b with Mecha Koopas is him sending one at you, crunches you limb with metal jaws, explosion in your face.
Piranha poison is probably worse with the emotional pain you have to indure before you die
