    The dealership service center said the “transmission side” cam plug is leaking, and I had no idea how to get to it. Thanks for the explanation. Saved me $610.47US. No joke, that was their exact price quote for the leak fix.

    Thanks for the vid! I was worried I would need to remove the valve cover to get the front cam plug out, after I already replaced the valve cover gasket and discovered later that the plug seal is also leaking.

      no problems , yes this one seal plug is very common issue for these R series Honda engines.

      @@FelixDanGarasiAuto indeed it is. When I first purchased my 06 Civic Ex sedan with the R18, it was leaking oil from just about everywhere on the head. Valve cover gaskets, vtec solenoid gasket, and now front and rear cam seals. I already had the engine steam cleaned after tackling the valve cover and vtec gaskets. Those were leaking the most. But I want 100% leak free! Steam cleaning was worth it. I discovered after that the inner cv boots on both axles were starting to leak. I also discovered the PS pump to have a leak. Both fixed. These cam seals are the last of the leaks to resolve.

      nah untuk membuka cam plug tsb harus memukul dengan palu dan obeng tipis perlahan lahan dan hati hati sambil di songket ke samping. Untuk membuat video yg baru sy mohon maaf sblomnya karena mobil sudah terjual.

    Sir, i would like to ask you, it's a little bit out of content.
    How do you compare the acceleration between CRV RE 2.0 and the common LMPV with 1500cc engine?
    Is the 2.0 really underpowered?
    Thx

    • @FelixDanGarasiAuto
      @FelixDanGarasiAuto  4 роки тому +1

      I think this engine 2.0 is good. It has a good acceleration. And good fuel consumption.

    Hello bro! Trying to take out the cam metal cap on a 2008 Honda Civic I broke the part where one of the bolts was and I couldn’t get the whole piece out. How can undo now to solve the oil leak? Is it possible to push it out from the inside if I remove the valve cover?
