David, I've only had my T150's for a few weeks. The long irons are amazing! Perhaps I have a little buyers remorse, but I have been considering whether I made the mistake of not getting a PW-8 in the T100. My old TaylorMade MC set was mixed (the set came like that). I would urge people that are on the verge of a low handicap to really test the shorter irons for height and spin. I went from a Vokey PW to a T150, and feel like I'm missing that feel and spin. Time will tell with my handicap!
David I have been waiting for this video. Since I am the first one here, I win a set of Titleist T150 irons from David Dusek Golf. Thanks soooo much I do appreciate it. Look forward to getting those delivered.
Hello. Thanks for the very useful video. I play in very windy conditions and currently carry a 3 iron (U505) to help hit longish low balls (other irons are 4i to PW in a CB/MB combo). Thinking about changing to T100/150 combo for a bit more help - would the 4 iron in the T150 with say a Tour ADI shaft be a good replacement for my current 3 iron? (I’d have options elsewhere it it was). Thanks Tim
Does the T 150 have more tungsten weighting than the T 100? Also, does the T 200 have more tungsten weighting than the T 150 ? Lastly, are there tungsten weights in the T 150 48 degree wedge? Thanks!
Joe, The weights are identical in all the T Series clubs, but the amount of of weight in each club varies. Meaning, the amount of weight in the T100, T150, T200 and T350 5-irons are all the same, but the weight in the 7-irons is different. I believe there is weight in the 48-degree wedge. Thanks for the questions. - DD
The T100’s have more spin, the T150’s feel faster off the face. Strongly recommend a proper fitting. I ended up with a set of T100’s based on on the numbers. They are replacing my 712 AP2 set and are approximately 10yds longer in all clubs.
Deegan, The T150 is likely a touch more forgiving because it generates slightly more ball speed, so a less-than-perfect strike should fly a little farther, but the difference between the T100 and T150 is nothing compared to the T150 and the T200. Thanks for the question. - DD
That should be about right. Accomplished golfers tend to want irons that spin more because that makes shaping shots easier. Most players would prefer to take spin off that swing and try to add extra spin. - DD
My grandson was fitted by Titiest, he said with playing a wind east coast he spun the T100 to much thought they may ballon in to strongish head wind, T150 just drill through the wind, the fitter was spot on grandson loves em ,just a thought if you play a windy course.
I wouldn't say it's a gimmick, I'd say it is an iron for someone who loves the look of the T100, but lacks the speed required to get the most out of it. Elite players typically don't want vibration-dampening materials because they want to feel mis-hits and know what is happening at impact. - DD
My grandson was fitted by Titiest T50,was told he created to much spin with T100 ,as we live and play windy East Coast of England would loose distance. His fitting was into head wind fairly strong, very noticed on track man , he hit the Titiest balls through the wind with T150 much more penetrative.

What does a fitting do?
Would you say that the t150 is a bit more forgiving? Or are they the same?

At same loft I found t100 spun about 200rpms more than t150

I thought the t100 was a tour players iron?
Many tour players use T100 irons, including Jordan Spieth, Max Homa has a couple, Ludvig Aberg has a full set, etc ...... - DD
So the t150 is a t100 with a vibration dampener and stronger lofts. Seems like a gimmick.

I will say I played in some strong winds with a friend of mine, and the T150's were penetrating vs his blades that were ballooning a good bit.
