Thank you for sharing your workshop updates on UA-cam! Your dedication to improving your space and sharing your progress is truly appreciated. Looking forward to seeing more!
I use my scrap wood to make little tiny furniture for my girlfriend's mom to make little model buildings. It's pretty fun, it makes me feel like a giant. Bedside nightstands are nice too. 😆
So proud of you and the work you are doing. I’m a father of two girls also so I enjoy young women/girls being creative. You have also inspired me to attempt setting up my garage workshop. Love you UA-cam channel
You should pick up one of the foam kneeling pads from the lawn and garden section ....makes a huge difference when kneeling on concrete even though they're sold for gardening. lol
Your shop is really coming along nicely. Using up scraps is always a great option for shop fixtures. Sometimes it seems like our scrap pile multiplies when we're not looking 🤣 Congrats on hitting 30,000 subscribers!!
I would recommend a new Freud blade for the saw and some dry film lubricant for the slides. Makes the saw even nicer to use! Keep up the fun shop work.
@elenamakes with respect to blades, I would recommend checking out the Insider Carpentry video on saw blades before replacing the blade on your miter saw. Spencer has some good information in there.
I have an 8x12 shed that is my shop. I built carts similar to this for my jointer, table saw, planer and band saw. I built a ramp to roll them outside so I have room to move in the shop. This is a nice build.
You should definitely put those bins… in drawers. Would eliminate dust from there completely, make it look aesthetically cleaner while making it easier to grab things and also allowing take the bins out if desired. Can keep the lids underneath them
Congratulations on reaching 30,001 subscribers! This is the result that seemed likely after watching your videos. I for one feel that this is the beginning. You are the deciding factor. Your presentation is excellent, as is the content .Thanks for the Surfshark recommendation. I:m not totally satisfied with my current vpn and am looking to change. Looking forward to the next one.
32.8k as I'm watching, congrats!! I wish I had been as organized as you when I started out. I have wanted to redo my work space, and now you have given me some great ideas. Thanks for sharing.
Just like you and Andrew, I didn’t see or know about the locking pin and how to raise the blade for the DeWalt DW617 I just picked up yesterday. So I LOL and told my wife, “look, same as me” as we watched your video. Keep them Great videos coming - we dig your channel! 😃
3:05 for a piece like that i rarely use the front clamp to hold it, it would just take a lot of time and effort twisting and releasing it, it snot a difficult or dangerous cut
One of your videos popped up while I was on here. So, I started binge watching your videos. Really, really creative. I enjoyed the backyard renovation with the stones and the coffee table with the small plants inside. Neat 👌
Nice stand, very pratical in its construction and liking the order to things by the end which I've been putting off so your organization gives some good ideas. Tysm!
Nice toys..one thng I am not used to. you like to keep your shop very clean, me I just work and push the dust out of the way and when I finish whatever I am doing, I get the air hose and dust everything . guess is a habit I pick when I was working doing cabinets.
You probably already know this but maybe there are people out there who dont. I had that same sliding compound saw and it kinda sucked for me because i had very limited space in my shop and that long bar for the sliding function hits the wall and you loose like 10in of space so i got the bosh which has a hinge so it can sit nearly flat against the wall ifs more spendy but when spave is a premium its great. Oh been here since you had just a few thousand congrats on the milestone
Setting up your workshop properly will only improve you as a woodworker. I'm just in the middle of redoing my layout. Also helpful to have a neat on the feet (tidy up) on the regular. Solid content.... Keep doing what you're doing. 😊
Estos videos de carpintería son muy agradables. Yo trabajo como diseñador 3d y es mi pasion pero otra sin duda alguna es la carpintería. Tener tu propio taller y esos toques rusticos debe ser relajante
Congrats on the 30K! This is something I need to do. I also have a limited work space. Thanks for the ideas! I enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work!😊
nice miter table ext. I built my shop also .but now I tore it all down and shipped it all to n.c..hopefully I will have a bigger shop out there. I made lots of projects but now .l don't know what to build anymore.lol
Congratulations on your 30k subs....but I just wanted to say I would have kept those pallets and done a project out of them and and sold the outcome for a higher price that you actually got them
Thanks! We got the pallets free with some stepping stones we bought, but the wood was in pretty rough shape otherwise I might’ve tried to break it down and salvage the pieces.
Shasimono es una técnica sin clavos , tornillos ni ningún tipo de añadiduras deberías investigar sobre ello ya que tienes el talento para trabajar la madera
Elena, my compliment for you is that you are very beautiful and your work is also very beautiful. All your products are good and you take great care of cleanliness, thank you?
30K is ABSOLUTELY a big deal! Don't let anyone tell you differently. Congrats!
Congrats on 30k! You are so adorable, I'd watch you read the newspaper. Your projects are super fun, thanks for making the videos.
I really like all of the roll-away stands you made for the tools plus the latch mechanisms which allow them to be joined for use. Great ideas!
I love the miter saw, I've used the same one for many years. I call mine "the big dog." Once you get comfortable with her, she's a gem.
Very encouraging for people who don't all the space in the world for each machine. Great Video!

I'm very much still in that beginning stage of learning.
Thank you for sharing your workshop updates on UA-cam! Your dedication to improving your space and sharing your progress is truly appreciated. Looking forward to seeing more!
7 months later and you have another 14.6K + one followers . Great video and great content. Thanks for showing us how you made the table :)
Congrats in your 30k and a lot more to come. You have a great presence and a great way of explaining things, thank you.
I use my scrap wood to make little tiny furniture for my girlfriend's mom to make little model buildings. It's pretty fun, it makes me feel like a giant. Bedside nightstands are nice too. 😆
Honestly, that sounds pretty cool! Great way to test out designs for human sized furniture pieces too...
@@elenamakes I never thought about that, you're right. Holy moly I just got a ton of ideas. Thanks!
So proud of you and the work you are doing. I’m a father of two girls also so I enjoy young women/girls being creative.

Love you UA-cam channel
Aw this warmed my heart :) wishing the best for you and your two daughters!

Congrats on hitting 30,000 subscribers!!
Haha I know! I blink and my orderly scrap pile has doubled in size and is strewn all over.
I love the voltron-style workbench with clasps to hold it all together. 😊
Haha thanks!
@@elenamakes I'm considering similar clasps for securing carts in my woodshop trailer, once I get it completed.
YO THIS CHANNEL IS FIREE , thank you for inspiring me to get into wood working as a 18 year old boy. your on the algorithm keep it up Elena!

Your shop will always be a work in progress, as it will evolve as you gain experience and focus on what you really want to do in there....
I have an 8x12 shed that is my shop. I built carts similar to this for my jointer, table saw, planer and band saw. I built a ramp to roll them outside so I have room to move in the shop. This is a nice build.
And I have to say, you are a talented and pretty young lady!
You should definitely put those bins… in drawers. Would eliminate dust from there completely, make it look aesthetically cleaner while making it easier to grab things and also allowing take the bins out if desired. Can keep the lids underneath them
Love to see how your channel is growing. It’s a real encouragement for me in my content creation journey!
Thanks! Best of luck with your channel!
just a suggestion, clear bins helps more with organization. saves time in looking for things. ( just a friendly FYI.)
I hear ya, but I like the opaque bins because it looks cleaner not seeing all the stuff in them. Just a personal preference.
Home Depot sells $15 husky kneeling pad it’s an excellent value. Looks like you’re having fun making sawdust, keep it up
I saved all my Prego jars to replace my broken landscape lights fixtures. They look so much nicer & put out so much more light now.
That sounds like an awesome diy fix. Love it when stuff can be reused like that.

Yep, it is a bit of a downside that you have to set it up a bit off the wall but, personally, it's worth it for me for the upsides. Thanks!

Great work Elena, thats really a great work shop. Its coming together, cant wait for more.
Kuat bike rack and Feedback Sports work stand. You have impeccable taste. :) Congrats on 30k. Well deserved.
haha thanks credit for both purchases goes to my husband, but I can agree they are high quality.
Congratulations on hitting 30k 🎉🍾. The shop is looking great
Congratulations on the 30k milestone!
Your drawings are superb. If this woodworking thing doesn’t work out, you could do some artistic drafting and sell prints.

I would so like to learn how to work with wood with you as my teacher. I am convinced that I will be a very dedicated student in practical classes.
Talenti jars are da bomb. I use them for all sorts of things. Love the miter saw cart. I have materials to build basically the same cart.
Congrats on the 30K! This is something I need to do. I also have a limited work space. Thanks for the ideas! I enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work!😊
I have that same saw and it also took me waaaay too long to find that pin the first time
It's like breaking in shoes, it happens when I use different brands. 😆
four hours after posting and it's already up to 32k
Great videos

Those ice cream jars the the bomb. I have a bunch, too.
thats awsome, nice work. thank you for the idea,.
The first video I have watched of your's so far. Nice video. good content, thank you for sharing.
Congrats on the 30k. You could screw some plywood on the walls to mount some wall racking to put your scrap wood on
Hello, I am Aliullah Akbary, I am a carpenter from Afghanistan, your work was very acceptable, I liked it, great, Stan, good luck always
Great work. It's all coming together quite well. Congrats on the 30K!
Thank you very much!
Really you are a hardworking beautiful lady.
Great work!
Thanks for sharing your journey!
30k subs is more than the twins population I live in, so it's a huge deal, congratulations 🎉
Thanks :) When you put it like that… it does seem rather sizable
The cartoon is really great. Good luck 😎😎🤞🤞
You deserve more viewers.
I haven't seen you actually make much. I think some wall mounted shop cabinets would serve you well. I mean, it's always about tools and the shop.
I've been doing a lot of shop updates lately, but if you go back in my videos there are plenty of fun projects I've shared over the past year.
I love carpentry and I have my own small workshop. If I were close to you, we would have worked together. I wish you more success😂
Wow that looks amazing what you have made
Congratulations on 30k, in 6 hours since publishing this video, you've already jumped to 32.9k keep it up ...
Btw you're now 32,901 now😅
Everything there is beautiful and special ❤
Way to go on 30k! And FYI a bigger shop doesnt help with clutter lol I have a 30x40 and Im always tripping over stuff.
Thanks! lol I’m sure the mess just gets bigger with a bigger shop.
Congrats on 30,000!
Congrats on 30k 🎉🎉🥰

You should put a French cleat system perfect for all that wall space, ❤❤
thank you so much for your effort 🙂

Well done Elena good job👏
Nice stuff. lots of space.

Congrats on the 30k 🎉
Nice shop, but how many times a day do you trip over that step in the concrete?
I did trip over it quite a few times when I first moved in I'm not going to lie...
@@elenamakes Aww. I'd have long since killed myself to death from tripping over it and having an allergic reaction to gravity.
Talenti is the woodworker's ice cream of choice lol
It's true. Woodworker math is justifying buying a more expensive ice cream so you can save the jar for your projects lol.
30 thousand people?! thats more than most arenas!!!

Hi -- What size are those bins? height + width + depth - Where did you get them? Home Depot or Amazon?
I'll add a link to the bins in the description :)
