      Hello! I love your work! 😁
      Was wondering...can you use this resin on a canvas with crushed glass? Or is it only for molds like the one you showed?
      I've been wanting to make a crushed glass canvas painting with resin and have no clue of a good resin to purchase for something like that.

    • @ThisSouthernGirlCan

    So how many resins did you go through before you found this one? I can picture you having at least 10 bottles of other stuff sitting on a shelf, well, at least that's what would happen to me anyway!! I'd also never think of doing the "pour water into it to get the measurement" thing so thanks for that tip!!
    I only use gloves when using any type of spray paint/top coat, otherwise it's bare skin always, I hate gloves too because they never fit my child sized hands.
    I just realized I have some practice pouring things like this because I make hard candy for different holidays & I use lollipop molds & you can't just pour the candy into them, you have to spoon it or transfer it into a smaller measuring cup to get them filled properly.
    I can't wait to try this stuff now!!!

    Can this resin be used on coffee to go cups?
    You never cease to amaze me. I did not know there was a difference between coffin and casket. Nor that you wanted to be a mortician. You are an interesting person.
    I would put the hand on the side of the coffin like it was reaching out.

    • @ThisSouthernGirlCan
      @ThisSouthernGirlCan  4 роки тому +2

      It does not adhere very well to plastic at all, so they would need to be made of stainless steel.

    • @gerilynne1955

      @@ThisSouthernGirlCan Good. I was looking for one that would be safe on the cups. I only use stainless steel. I'm so not into plastic. Even as a kid. Everything tastes like plastic. Thanks Amber.

    What a gorgeous purple! 😍 I made a coffin a few days ago (black, purple and green!)...love those molds! I used a different seller than Let’s Resin because there were many more extras included. I apologize if this is in a different video, but have you ever used mica powder? It’s AMAZING for those smaller molds. I painted my owl mold and he came out beautifully! I’ve never heard of a 70/30 resin! That would be a nightmare. Also, can you pleeeeeeeeeeeeaseeeeee encourage people to use reusable (silicone) supplies? Just curious....why didn’t you become a mortician?

      No. You definitely would not want the resin to be washed down your sink into your plumbing.

    • @digitaldarkroom07
      @digitaldarkroom07 4 роки тому

      There are silicone cups you can use which are reusable. The leftover resin will dry in the cup and you simply peel it out and throw it away. Way more economical and much better for the environment! There are also silicone stir sticks.
