So if you’re using an inkjet printer the resin won’t mess up the ink or card stock? I just got my mold today thanks so much for the inspiration! I love IT🎈

I used Craftables Inkjet printable vinyl to print the actual image but used cardstock to place it on to make it more sturdy if that makes sense. The printable vinyl is waterproof and the resin doesnt effect the ink at all :)

Hi, I know this is an old video but I"m doing something similar with the coffin mold now and found this. It looks great! How did you do the lettering on the side? Is it a waterslide? And if so, did you top coat it with resin? I want to put transparent stickers in the sides and top of my coffin and I"m not sure if would be better to insert in the resin or put them on top and then do a top coat.

My 12yr old daughter and I made our very first coffin last night. With it being our first time ever playing with epoxy, molds, etc we did simple. Well I actually believe we poured way too much epoxy into the mold. The coffin lid and coffin body started bulging out the sides. I really had no idea how flimsy the sides of the mold was. Lol. So I don’t think our coffin will turn out. We should of first done the 3 smaller molds that came with the coffin: a bat, skeleton hand, and one I can’t remember at the moment.

The bulge is normal with the coffin mould

Hey Love the InkJet Idea... Can I ask.. Does the InkJet smear and how do you over come this?? I have used Mod Podge in the passed to quickly seal the Ink Print, with good results how do you deal with this.. Thanks for the Inspiration :-)

Craftables brand inkjet printable does not smear which is why it is my go to! I hate having to seal my prints so I only use this brand. I havent come across anything comparable yet.

anyone watching this should know that you should use resin/epoxy in a well ventilated room and should wear a respirator mask :/
    but great job otherwise :)

I think that's true for most resin probably all especially if you're using a lot. The kind I use is low odor and I can't smell it at all when I use it. Painting my nails produces a much stronger odor. I'm not trying to discredit your comment at all because it is true and it is safer. I'm sorry if it came across rude or anything because that wasn't my intention ❤️

@@WritteninAsh youre totally right, ive dyed my hair with stonger smelling chemicals lol but its better safe than sorry especially with prolonged use. I just want everyone to be safe and prepared :) and dont worry your comment wasnt rude at all. ❤

Is there any other way to get this shape without having a circuit and it's programming?

    • @bradfordcustomizedcreation7456

I suppose you can just print the image you would like to use, use the mold to trace around it, and cut it by hand.

Just fill with water first and measure the amount. Then dry mold.
