I make content to make money - just - on a longer time horizon than most UA-camrs.
I don't want to take cheap brand partnerships, and I don't want to sell you some $50 course... although I'm sure I could make more money if I did push courses (and there's nothing wrong with people who go that route).

How I got here…
12 yrs old: Started uploading minecraft videos at / @luke23mc
16 yrs old: Switched to uploading Fortnite videos on this channel. You can go to my uploads sort oldest to newest to see all of my old Fortnite videos
18 yrs old: Switched from Fortnite to Rocket League videos during Covid. I also began coaching players 1-on-1 on / spookluke
19 yrs old: Rocket League went free to play and my channel blew up. To keep up with the demand, started the Grand Champ Roadmap --a rocket league course business
20 yrs old: Built the course while in College and created a coaching-community-course hybrid model. Eventually, drop out of school to pursue UA-cam and the company full-time.
21 yrs old: Switched from selling courses to coaching only. Rebranded as Grand Champ Bootcamp. Doubled coaching duration, lowered price.
22 yrs old: Peaked GC3 (top 20,000 players) while averaging less than an hour of Rocket League per day.
Today: Coaching is how we make our money - not youtube videos or courses.

Colorblind mode can also help, even if you're not actually colorblind. Makes the teams colors more intense and it's easier to tell them apart from background stuff.
camera settings are actually sooo important, lot of low ranks ignore it

@zoroshatred1877 for me I just plug it into the USB on my PC and it works
i went from c3 to gc2 in a day back to gc1…… i learned a bunch from u dog

Heads up, if you're using a controller with Hall sensors you'll want to fine tune your dead zone settings little by little in training.

with some setups or games u can get screen tearing. which means ur game will sometimes confuse where some things need to be and pur em somewhere else. think of it like the old 90s tv's some vsync helps sometimes

I just started playing rocket league when I tell you I could not get a goal 🥅 to save my life I mean no brakes man these settings feel so much better and I make goals on the regular now and it makes me feel better that I can actually help my team now thank you man I still have so much to learn and so much practice ahead of me but here we go by far one of the hardest games to learn thank you ✅
Joo spookyluke, can you maybe make a video for the best Nvidia controle panel settings for rocket league. I thunk that would be helpfull, also bc im getting many stutters even when fps is capped?

Yo seems like distance for camera settings is a crucial part in the game. But I want to be able to feel like it’s snapping to the ball and when I turn off ball cam it goes to where I’m looking quick. But no matter what I have the setting correctly set to how I want them. Just seems like I have a skill issue. Distance feels like more FOV then the actual FOC

not in this game, but some games I found crash way less when I turn vsync on. very few though

I don't have any Drift option in the settings
Also what is Ball cam tongle
They "Drift" is actually called "Powerslide" in your control settings and Ball cam toggle is called "Focus on Ball" it switches between the camera pointing at your car and pointing at the ball. Hope that helps!

hey Luke, I know I am going to sounds like *one of Thos plats* saying this but i have been a hard stuck Dimond for maybe a year and a bit now. my biggest issue is tm8s, I know this is the issue because whenever I play with my friends (they are c2-3) we win a lot of games (most of the time I get MVP). I probably practiced my freestyling for about a year and totally left 0 attention to game sense as well. when I say I can double stall reset I mean I can double stall reset (no BS) really, I just need some help with my game sense and help to get away from my fellow (switch players) in Dimond. any help would be appreciated (my age does not qualify for your coaching)

Hey Luke for the control input I have trouble breaking if I have drift and reverse on the same input
powerslide and reverse should not be on the same bind
