That body and face mold you're working on are so perfect for her! I wish you luck to finish it soon cuz I really need to see the final results.
I love Jessie so much but saddly I never really see good replicas of her, the Signature is okay but it doesn't really look like her on her playmode.
Also the disproportionate and unfeminine bodies have always been a problem in Jessie dolls...
The yarn hair is also something to point out cuz I've always noticed that the color is different on each movie; in her first appearance her hair is an intense and darker shade of red, while in the third it is brighter and saturated, and now in the fourth, it actually has a more orangey tone than in any other movie...
Anyways I'm sure you're going to make an amazing job on her!! ¿ How much time do you think it will take ? Im so excited for this proyect!! hahaha ❤️🌵🌻👢
I will try my best. She may end up looking like a combination of the past 3 movies she’s been in. The new head should be done in May or June hopefully!
I actually have one of those ragdoll Jessie dolls! I got it in a lot with a woody that I wanted and a Toy Story 4 woody on mercari for $20! It didn’t come with the hat so I bought one separately, but it was worth it after I found out how rare it was!

Also random unrelated fun fact I just found out: the name for the Chatter Telephone (in the official Toy Story 3 script) is The Lifter
(Edit, concerning the Devine Child head: in all artwork, storyboards, etc. Jessie has freckles. Might want to examine her closely to see of she has them on her movie model)

I finally fixed that here lol thinkway toys left a nice template for me to replicate thanks to their black ink print on the back it was just too low so I matched it up to the movie photo! Finally. Perfect placement.

I scrapped that Buzz to use his helmet, hands, and arm stickers to restore a Super Rare #35 Thinkway Toys Utility Belt Buzz Lightyear Talking Action Figure that was a Toys'R'Us Exclusive back in 2009 for a Limited Time

I actually did find that Jessie with the body but I ended up losing it because somebody got it before I could buy it and I couldn't find another one like it 😢

You know I kinda knew just as much as you did Todayigrewup that 1.0 Jessie’s Mattel Body is just too small plus there’s also Soft and Huggable Jessie Doll from Toy Story 4 even though it doesn’t have plastic boots or belt or hands
My problem with these (and most Jessie bodies) is that the yellow bits are supposed to be the same material as the white (in TS4 especially you can see the texture in some close ups). The red border should be more 3d like UK Mattel Jessie, but the red swirly pattern on the yellow should be printed on.
And the yellow section should be stitched around the border with white thread. This body has some of that detail printed on, but the “thread” is green for some reason.
No toy has gotten all those details right.
I do like the proportions of this one, though.
I will argue there doesn’t exist any toy in real life that will be perfect. There is no “perfect” not in our real world does that exist. This is the best we have from thinkway toys. Probably the best we are ever going to get unless a toy factory in the future can do better. You will always find issues with any Toy Story toy ever produced.

The “perfect” Jessie body unfortunately would, I think, have to be kind of a Frankenstein of several official toys.

Not for this Jessie. Going for an accurate mod here, want a true ragdoll body with ziptie like the movie. I don’t like magnet mods I just make them for people who want to see it. Personally only like magnet mod for buzz.

Can you show what type of voice box you used and how you got it inside the body of that Jessie model??? I have that same body and I'm a little lost on how to unstitch her waist and sew it back together so I can insert it. Thank you so much. I love your projects. A greeting from Spain.
If you watch the video you will see I didn’t put a voice box in her. She doesn’t need one because in the movie they never pulled it. So what I did was stick a metal piece where the voice box should go, made a small hole and then inserted and glued a small piece of rope inside and tied a pull string ring to it. I made it look like she has a voice box but really she does not.

@@todayigrewup You're welcome. However, in my opinion, I will always stick with Collection/Signature Collection Jessie, even though there are blue dashes at the bottom of the yellow chest part of her shirt, when it's supposed to be white.

I want to know how to remove boots of a 2010 thinkway Woody. You know, kind of like the cheap Walmart Woodys back in 2010 to promote TS3. The Woodys that would match up with the Jesse in this video. I've been trying to fix my 2010 playtime woody I have and it is in horrible condition.

Yeah it's not real denim but I've always liked those fake polyester jeans on the standard talking Woody and Jessie as well as this one. They're not denim but they kind of feel like denim unlike the cheap signature collection jeans lawl

There’s one thing that’s not accurate about this if you look on the shirt the green stitching is not supposed to be green it’s white in the movie

I have my original thinkway toys collection Jessie which until I download the toy mode Jessie head I Sanded down the original eyebrows and I’m gonna use epoxy much like what JC Alva did with your First Woody I took the speaker out in her head I didn’t like that but I ruined the cover to the speaker because I couldn’t get the screws out so I had to drill bit them and use gator grips now that thinkway toys is gone I can’t get a replacement but that doesn’t matter I’m going use a stand In cover replacement
