This is so touching and sad. My heart still breaks when I think of the 16 lost and the 13 who had their lives changed forever. I can relate to this on somewhat of a personal level just because of how sudden and out of nowhere it happened. I lost my sister in a car accident and it was the most sudden and unexpected thing that had ever happened in my life
Everyone who was a in the crash will be remembered sending prayers to all the family’s who were involved

I am from Austria and I have never seen a game or heard anything about them before the accident... but my heart is broken and I could cry everytime I see a picture or a video of one of the players or the team😔💔RIP

Global should be ashamed for the ads first off!!!! Second my heart breaks for the survivors of this. I can't imagine what they are dealing with. Will those boys ever play hockey again? The things they saw that night. It's so so sad. Time doesn't heal wounds it puts a scab over the pain. I hope they do better with time. My heart breaks for the families also, the pain must be immense. The lost were so young. Stay Humbolt Strong.

I'm thinking that there are ads on this because of the music that was used in the ceremony, and because of the way digital Content ID trackers work... if the rights holders of the songs have chosen to monetize the songs, the Content ID algorithms would put ads on any youtube videos where it identified the copyrighted works.... I could be wrong but this is my understanding of how youtube's Content ID works with music copyrights... I suspect that is what has happened here and that it isn't Global trying to monetize the video, but just the Content ID system identifying the copyrighted music works that puts the ads on the video. Much love to the Broncos and all the families
