    As the brother of one of the deceased, a relative of one of the paramedics who work on and transported some of the players and a healthcare professional myself, I'd like to thank all who were involved in the process of taking care of the young men my brother (Assistant Coach Mark Cross) loved and cared about so much. In this whirl wind of devastation, I heard great things about all medical staff involved. I'm very proud of all of you. I'm very sorry you had to witness "our" worst nightmare, but am thankful for you all.

      As the father of a 12 year old who plays soccer on a travelling team, our hearts are heavy and tears a plenty in North Carolina. While it's of little help or consequence, just know that so many of us everywhere, in every corner of America and the world are with you in spirit, in mourning and in loss.

    How to turn a hospital into a trauma centre 101.
    - Have good staff
    - Have good training
    - Be prepared.

      Don’t take it too personally. Could have been a mistake, or a sad or upset reaction. Thumbing up seems weird too... there are definitely some horrible and insensitive people out there but it’s hard to reason things like that. You just don’t know... not something you can understand.

    I was just in the Humboldt hospital in February 2018 to get my eyebrow stitched after the Bullet for my Valentine, Breaking Benjamin, and Avenged Sevenfold concert in Saskatoon. Everyone, from the admitting staff to the nurses to the doctor, was excellent. It was easily the best experience that I've had with a healthcare facility. One could accuse this Doctor Masri of simple self-promotion of him and his staff, but in my experience the staff there really was extraordinary.

    • @LeeSmokeyday
      @LeeSmokeyday 6 років тому +1

      Nirvana7734 this doctor works in Saskatoon and not Humboldt. Did you even watch the video?

    • @Nirvana7734
      @Nirvana7734 6 років тому

      I did, but there was a lot of dialogue in this video that was unintelligible in my playback, so I may have missed that. I thought that Doctor Masri was in Humboldt. If not, my mistake; my point still stands that my experience at the Humboldt hospital was excellent.

      Gurnoor Ghuman I think some people confuse thumbs down for a reaction like on Facebook where Thumbs up= happy, thumbs down= sad. I don’t think it’s a reflection on humanity.
      Like John Roscoe said, the audio was bad, not the story.
      It does feel weird to “Like” a video about tragedy.

    Can anyone explain why "Hack3r N4ti0n" (at the bottom of Comments) and "M. Cross" (at the top) have the exact same comments about being related to one of the victims?
    Seems very odd to me.

    The donations will flow, the ceremonies will be had. The anniversaries will come. Nothing will change. We will all continue with our empty empathy and false respect for one another.
    Wake up people! It's time to treat each other better in all times. Not just emotional times of tragedy.

    So the company is called Adesh Deoi Trucking Co. And they had 2 drivers. And the driver of the semi was 21.
    Just hired.
    The Humboldt bus was on a highway. Going normal highway speed 100 km'h.
    And the negligent semi truck driver ran the stop sign just ahead of the Humboldt bus.
    The trees really didn't affect anything.
