Absolutely the same here. I chased after meta twice, twice they robbed me by making my high spending worthless. Now I understand what I still see so many Ravanas, Demeter's, etc. beautiful cool bots to have a bit of fun in a sweet game like WRs. Those chasing the meta every two months have to be wealthy ppl. No way adults will over spend in an online game like it is here required. Literally thousands of dollars/euros every 8 weeks or so. It's crazy.
Can't wait for a single phase shift to counter the good old Ophion ability. It used to be very difficult to not take damage from a flying Ophion, but after these nerfs.. Yeah it's gonna be fair and square. No more flying serpents that kill you with one ability.

They've rendered Ophions built in guns, that were originally meant for attacking Titans, uselesss. They do next to no damage now and that combined with the range nerf to 350m means they will be useless for the job they were intended for. I still don't think we will see half as many in champion league after this. Not being run by veteran players anyway. Cestus family of weapons have also been rendered utterly useless which I don't understand at all because they were barely used as it is apart from on Ophion. I have a ton of those weapons and I never levelled up one of them because they weren't strong enough for me and that's before the nerf!! It's pretty clear that they've decided to kill Rook too. R.I.P.
Rook was pretty annoying to deal with, glad they nerfed him. And as for the cestus and others, I think the damage nerf should be reverted or even buff it more than before, and they should make it so cestus , labrys and ksiphos should the full the blast charge up faster because it's too slow.
You’re forgetting they didn’t touch to cooldown. It will still be a top bot. Look at lynx. Short ability nerf but due to its short cooldown lynx is still a beast
I dont think this re balance is going to kill the rook, i think its going to make it a killable tank, keep in mind it was the only titan that could survive 3 newtons shooting at it . I think with this re balance, the minos, the indra and other titans can come back to the meta
The regular Ophion shield no longer exists when landing, but the Quicksand Ophion has the absorber active during the landing phase. Which means the glitch is on the special edition Ophion.. Not the regular Ophion. Glitches always come with the special edition robots for some extra power so that it's sold more easily.
@@ArlxGamlng Whose lying? I know for a matter of fact that you can see the purple bar still but it doesn't absorb any damage whilst landing with the regular Ophion. This has been in the game for months and i am not the only one who knows that the Ophion's shield doesn't prevent you from taking damage during the landing phase as long as it's not the Quicksand Ophion.
The Ophion's current test server status should stay like that. But Rook, it's a bit too harsh. Maybe a 8 second shield regeneration would've been alright enough.

Hm that is crazy, it seems like they touch more non heavily use weapons then focusing more on the problems within the game. Also the Rook nerf is going make that Titan a lot less likely to survive espeically with those Newton's Choke abilities etc.

Jill summers is basically useless. Actually too many people investing on rook and its actually can kill newt in the upcoming nerf, and because iffel is newer titan than rook and newt they need to nerf rook because they still need to sell iffel. Hey Predator, I think you should try out stealth bots (especially Orochi and Lynx) with the reworked Kestrel drone. Since it now restores 5% grey damage on stealth. I think it might work very well with stealth bots.
Don’t forget guys ophion only has a 11 secs cooldown with boosters. So it has 5 secs of flight and 9-10 secs of absorber shield. So people are delusional if they think ophion is dead and the 350 Biw range isn’t that big of a deal it will still be fast in the air with pilot skills

Well since tonans and fulgur are getting nerfed rook wouldn't be dead, most likely luchador will become superior to the rook but nothing more since they just nerfed the shield replacement time, surpresion (which didn't really mattered that much, at least for me), and the grey damage reduction, durability remaining the same, although because of that i'm saying that luchador will be superior to him (maybe only a little), but that's not entirely true since we have the pilot that reduces the shield replacement duration with 3 second resulting in 7 seconds of shields inactivity ( 1 sec longer than the current rook without the pilot which is 6 sec). But also the fact that the Newton meta is 90% dead we will see other titans such as aether,minos,murometz, indra, etc appear more and more since they will no longer get instantly destroyed from a single tonans/fulgur salvo, which will affect rook position into a possible titan ranking, since for example when meta stuff gets nerfed titans/robots such as indra/ravana and minos (for example) gets stronger. So realising that i wrote to much 😅, i hope i made myself clear😁
@@ii_dynasty technically yeah, fulgur/tonans could still kill titans relatively easily but they also received the 12 seconds reload nerf, because of that and the fact that they are completely useless against normal bots now since they received a massive damage nerf, and let's not forget that Newton also has thet built in extra damage against titans so if you were to use them on the rook for example you will barely kill enemies titans, if I'm right you could still 1 shot a murometz hp level titan but that's only if you have a max damage built (4 onslaught reactors, pilot skills)

@mihai5210 reapers at 12 seconds were pretty good. I honestly don't think 12 seconds on Newton is crazy. The damage nerf really only affects normal robots as for titans damage, i would've only Ioss around 4k damage.

Flight speed nerf from 230% to 150%. That is not a nerf, it’s complete annihilation. Doesn’t make sense if flight time is nerfed then flight speed shouldn’t have been nerfed or vice versa.
Simple … pixonic has new bots they are bringing out. They always nerf the old meta before bringing out the new 1 …which is brought out overpowered as hell. That way it drives sales to the new bots and the credit card warriors spend like crazy. That’s been pixonic business model for years now.
The flight time is everything. 5 seconds makes it completely useless in champion league. And… the grenade weapons already suck. Not sure why they’re nerfing those already.
Predator, if i were to offer you a chouce if firearms to defend yourself in like a zombie siege, both with a max range of 500 meters, would you prefer the machine gun who’s shots missed 30 percent of the time at max range, or the machine gun whose shots missed forty percent at max range? If you picked the latter one, congrats. You picked the nerfed one as it effectively misses more shots due to bullet spread. Essentially, any time you see a firearm have increased dispersion, that means that it has increased rate of its bullets loosing their accuracy at longer ranges. And considering the entire point of a firearm is to hit the target from a distance, if its shots miss more often at farther range, it’s probably not going to be very l good at that.
Pixonic is probably nerfing the rook because with right setup and skill it was invinceble if not shot by 3 Newtons at the same time and because a better Tank Titan is coming to the game now...
If they plan on making the rook that useless then they should buff the shield hp by 20% cause they literally break like fuking paper and they should also kill the luchador because it’s literally stronger than a rook.
I do hate the ophion but the nerf is still too much. nerf it's in flight speed boost by less and the duration less. Should be 6 seconds not 5 and just put it's inflight speed boost to 175% not 150%

Got myself a kick ass MSI gaming laptop (she got powerful cards) yesterday, so I might start some WR frontiers and war thunder. Maybe a baby account on normal WR. I’m excited!😛 I been stuck on iPad mobile only. I like that new map, I can imagine pushing into different areas as a team. Gather up then push.
The only problems with the ophion was it’s ridiculous 12 or 11 seconds cooldown and speed. So why not just make the cooldown 20 seconds and make the acceleration in flight 160% instead of 220% And keep everything else the default and like new. I wish we could do the balancing
i think its not the replacement of the rook's shields that needs the nerf BUT the pilot because without the pilot your opponents have a 6-7 second opening to deal nearly 1m dmg with weapons that can do that in 1 second (basically everything getting nerfed) but it just makes it 10x worse because sure your fulgurs do less damage BUT they have more time to deal their insane damage before you get the shields back..
With that change of Ophion, the durability, speed, and built-in weapon dispersion got buffed, while the built-in weapon range, flight duration, flight acceleration, and absorber damage bonus for built-in weapon got nerfed. It seems that Ophion's Clear Sky ability got nerfed which is very surprising.
Finally the ophion is getting destroyed, being in a titan, thats supposed to feel like a complete killing machine, but being unable to do anything against an invincible ophion with tremendous dmg output is just trash. Hawk could at least take damage.
So you're saying more speed makes it worse? Dawg that 6km/ph might've almost negated the 350M build in weapons nerf as ophion get's another speed increase, literally making him travel hundreds of km just in 5 seconds.
Yeah not to forget they took away like 25% of the hp last nerf. The balance changes that were "added" were just to reduce the shitstorm a bit. I don't think it performs much different from last testserver. Can't forget on live server you get the extra flight speed during ability from the pilot and you still have that super short cooldown tho, I don't think Ophion is dead.

The suppression and grey damage reduction also received a nerf for rook. A shot from Newton would also still hurt Titans, just not as often.

Flight speed nerf from 230% to 150%. That is not a nerf, it’s complete annihilation. Doesn’t make sense if flight time is nerfed then flight speed shouldn’t have been nerfed or vice versa.
Simple … pixonic has new bots they are bringing out. They always nerf the old meta before bringing out the new 1 …which is brought out overpowered as hell. That way it drives sales to the new bots and the credit card warriors spend like crazy. That’s been pixonic business model for years now.
The flight time is everything. 5 seconds makes it completely useless in champion league. And… the grenade weapons already suck. Not sure why they’re nerfing those already.
Predator, if i were to offer you a chouce if firearms to defend yourself in like a zombie siege, both with a max range of 500 meters, would you prefer the machine gun who’s shots missed 30 percent of the time at max range, or the machine gun whose shots missed forty percent at max range? If you picked the latter one, congrats. You picked the nerfed one as it effectively misses more shots due to bullet spread.
Essentially, any time you see a firearm have increased dispersion, that means that it has increased rate of its bullets loosing their accuracy at longer ranges. And considering the entire point of a firearm is to hit the target from a distance, if its shots miss more often at farther range, it’s probably not going to be very l good at that.
Pixonic is probably nerfing the rook because with right setup and skill it was invinceble if not shot by 3 Newtons at the same time and because a better Tank Titan is coming to the game now...

If they plan on making the rook that useless then they should buff the shield hp by 20% cause they literally break like fuking paper and they should also kill the luchador because it’s literally stronger than a rook.
I do hate the ophion but the nerf is still too much. nerf it's in flight speed boost by less and the duration less. Should be 6 seconds not 5 and just put it's inflight speed boost to 175% not 150%

The only problems with the ophion was it’s ridiculous 12 or 11 seconds cooldown and speed.
So why not just make the cooldown 20 seconds and make the acceleration in flight 160% instead of 220%
And keep everything else the default and like new. I wish we could do the balancing
i think its not the replacement of the rook's shields that needs the nerf BUT the pilot because without the pilot your opponents have a 6-7 second opening to deal nearly 1m dmg with weapons that can do that in 1 second (basically everything getting nerfed) but it just makes it 10x worse because sure your fulgurs do less damage BUT they have more time to deal their insane damage before you get the shields back..

With that change of Ophion, the durability, speed, and built-in weapon dispersion got buffed, while the built-in weapon range, flight duration, flight acceleration, and absorber damage bonus for built-in weapon got nerfed. It seems that Ophion's Clear Sky ability got nerfed which is very surprising.
Finally the ophion is getting destroyed, being in a titan, thats supposed to feel like a complete killing machine, but being unable to do anything against an invincible ophion with tremendous dmg output is just trash. Hawk could at least take damage.

So you're saying more speed makes it worse? Dawg that 6km/ph might've almost negated the 350M build in weapons nerf as ophion get's another speed increase, literally making him travel hundreds of km just in 5 seconds.
Yeah not to forget they took away like 25% of the hp last nerf. The balance changes that were "added" were just to reduce the shitstorm a bit. I don't think it performs much different from last testserver. Can't forget on live server you get the extra flight speed during ability from the pilot and you still have that super short cooldown tho, I don't think Ophion is dead.

On top of that the last update nerf the ophion durability by 15% 😂 so from the 9.6 update to 9.8 ophion got 5% less durability this is all nerfing there is no single buff for it they just fucked him
