hey I have a question, I have 2017 Audi a4 I’m getting code p2556 but my car is running good not overheating and the temp gauge is working fine. I change that sensor but I’m still getting that same code. Could it be the other sensor on the engine?

Yes. I made the same mistake. I believe both sensors are the same so if you have the old one just replace the second one with the one you just took off.

do you need to put the o ring on it? i replaced mine but i didn’t put the o ring it came with

@@poodle__ You should always replace the O rings/gaskets when replacing any parts. It is a cheap replacement that can save you from catastrophic failures or leaks down the line and having to redo your work.

Fyi i have a cheap fault code reader so might not read the codes properly

There’s 2 sensors. So you have to make sure you replace the right one. Or you can just replace both. I believe the other sensor is located on or near the thermostat housing.

Also I highly recommend you’re using OEM parts because if you don’t it might not read correctly and still cause issues.

My A3 8V was having the coolant low level warning. But upon checking coolant level was normal. Does this gonna solve my issue?

Yes, there are 2 sensors and they both look the same. Make sure to test them both and you’re replacing the correct one.
