She wasn’t even petty about Ariana! She’s actually the more mature one, yet people succeeded on failing her (re: when it wasn’t just Sam & Cat (which she had every right to hate on Schneider’s Bakery shows because while Sam Puckett is her worst character that made her look bad, Sarah Bronson is her best character that would do her the justice she needed!) that was a flop especially because of Dan Schneider being a *total rapist* but also because people loved to strongly underrated What’s Next for Sarah? so they could get Jennette flopped once again (well, joke’s on you haters! She’s doin’ just fine with her podcast these days, and here to help make the world a better place now that she has more freedom that when she was an Evilodeon teenager!)!

This show is so interesting. It’s just a look into Jennette’s mind following the Sam and Cat drama
My favourite part is when she made fun of Ariana Grande in episode 3 by making a WNFS version of herself (Gloriana) because that’s probably a strangely accurate depiction of her and how much better Jennette deserved than her. Don’t come at me, Nickelodeon defense squad!

This is about so much more about Jeanette’s journey as a woman than about one reference in it. Genuinely why are people so mad about the “Gloriana” thing? She literally made fun of so many SPECIFIC celebrities in this series. Sounds like Ari stans are fuckin weirdos.

The video 'Uncomfortable Facts Nickelodeon Hid From Us' brought me here. It makes me slightly uncomfortable that some of these scenarios probably if not totally happened. Hollywood is rough and thinking of as an actor the things you may have to do to get a role makes me want to shower

I agree, I hate that this show has haters including s • who would justify all the abuse Jennette went through and would dehumanize her by acting like she was jealous of Ariana, Dan Schneider, Nickelodeon, Jamie Spears (the woman and her father), the rest of the Zoey 101 cast (save for Paul Butcher whom I’d like to cast as the future son in law of Marie Vega and Chad Ma den played by James Maslow, another Nickelodeon star who also had it hard if only because of haters) and her own biological mother.
@@kieranstark7213 The indie production of the show also makes it less comedic than this style would normally be and more uncanny and scary too. Some parts, like Gloriana are satire but the style of production feels like a nightmare feaver dream after reading the book and knowing this was someone’s real life.
In context of Alyson Stoner's recent video, this series feels really honest and brave. I'm happy for Jennette just focusing on living her life.

Here after reading Jennette's book. Can't help but notice how many of these scenes closely resemble certain chapters in the book, particularly when "Sarah" tells her agents she is taking a break from acting.
The whole "Gloriana" scene is also understandable, given her real life experience on the Sam and Cat set.
Would love to see Jennette's book be adapted into a film. Lots of material to create a compelling storyline!

Because she’s probably justifiably trying to save herself after she kept getting more hate for all the people she bashed. Not just Ariana Grande, but also Dan Schneider, Nickelodeon (especially after what they did with Stephen Hillenburg, her mom, Cyma Zarghami & Brian Robbins (the CEOs of Nickelodeon) and other celebrities besides Ariana, like Miley (probably because she broke up with a Jonas Brother alongside whom else? And what’s worse, she would refer to Francia Raiza as “The girl who gave me my kidney” who had it debatably even harder than Jennette because of that insult) and Selena Gomez.

I’m really enjoying this cynical comedy towards hollywood. It feels too real in an obviously dramatized way (but not that much from the stories I’ve heard tbh). This series is really smart
