- Michelle Branch joins Yahoo Music's Lyndsey Parker for a wide-ranging discussion of her new album "The Trouble With Fever," her personal and working relationship with husband Patrick Carney, her writing process during the coronavirus pandemic, therapy, toxic masculinity, Roe v. Wade and more.
Branch said, "I've been able to compartmentalize the album and what's been going on recently. My creative working relationship with Patrick is something that I really value. That's not tarnished and what we worked on together is not tarnished."

Interview was fine until the questioning about toxic masculinity. Is that like toxic femininity? Seems like everybody has a different definition.
Interview was great and insightful into Michelle until the overly dead-horse used topic of "toxic masculinity" and talk about it like there's no toxic feminism. When you people start getting into cringe politics that makes you come off dumber than you already are, it helps no one, not even yourself. You're just "another one of those people"

The second half of this "interview" was unbearable since she tried so hard with the "Female v. Male" questions/drama, at first I was happy about it and as a woman I appreciated the questions and shining light about how she felt 20 years ago with her music, but damn... She honestly seemed kinda awkward answering/defending the men in her life constantly that she had to make it clear at 19:15 and 30:15
